I remember this match well - Dani is such clean striker of the ball, she reminds me of David Nalbandian. Ana's game is more analogous to Del Potro's. But how she blew those two gimme points serving at 4-all in the 3rd... ouch.

Daniela maybe could've been a bit more sporting at the end, but she was hardly in the wrong. I'd be pissed off too if my opponent screamed like a pig after I'd made a complete cock up to lose my serve at 4-4 in the final set! Still, even though I don't like her very much, Ana did very well to come back after losing the first set 6-0.

Hantuchova seems like a very serious player, she did amazing in the 1st set, 6-0 in 25 minutes is pretty awesome!

...but anyone who thinks Ivanovic isn't a good player and needs to cheat or whatever, well that's just dumb. Check out her 3 aces in a row, that's on youtube somwhere, Ana doesn't need to cheat to win a serve, all she needs is confidence, this is what pros and people who know about tennis say.

@twarren20 If you knew anything about tennis, or tennis gear atleast. You'd know addidas shoes have some of the best traction and grip you'll ever get. This surface also is sanded down to make it slow and spin friendly, so there's more grip in addition. Ivanovic's isn't exactly what I would call light footed either, her footwork just improved in 2010 plus she's tall. Thus the squeaky noises were involuntary

If you knew anything about gamesmanship you would know that if you are doing something on the tennis court that is distracting or has been distracting you should change it, including changing loudy and very annoying shoes.

@twarren20 With all due respect, I never claimed I was a tennis expert, it is just my opinion. I'm just saying that it probably wasn't Ana's intention to make such noises. Second, Venus Williams said she barely noticed the squeaking and said it wasn't distracting. If players found it distracting they have the right to tell the umpire or any other official. I just dislike people who call something as common as squeaking shoes a form of cheating. Shoes always squeak throughout rallies anyway.
