  • “I feel I am completely cured” says Ms. Gianopoulos, “my symptoms have disappeared and I have a recovery of many functions, notably my balance and my muscle strength is all coming (back). Even after six months, I feel like there are good changes happening almost every day. Before, my biggest fear was that the changes wouldn’t (hold). I don’t even worry about having a relapse anymore”. • A group of Canadian patients just back from Noble have reported similar results. “I can actually see what I thought were long-dead muscles forming in my feet” said Larry Vermeersch of Kenora, Ontario. “My balance is back and I’m walking without a cane. I’m a pretty hard guy to convince, but getting these two procedures together has made me a believer. I’m looking forward to the physio ahead because I can feel everything coming back.” Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • A universal benefit reported by every patient has been the recovery of bladder control. Most MS patients have various bladder control symptoms that include urinary urgency, incontinence, nocturia, or urinary hesitancy as a result of the disruption of electrical impulses from the brain to the nerves and muscles that are involved in emptying the bladder (pudenal nerve, urethral sphincter, detrusor muscle). Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • Dr.Avneesh Gupte, the Neurosurgeon at Noble Hospital performing the procedure has been encouraged by results in Cerebral Palsy patients as well. “We are fortunate to be able to offer the treatment because not every hospital is able to perform these types of transplants. You must have the specialized medical equipment and specially trained doctors and nurses”. Log on to ccsviclinic.ca for more information.

  • Dr. Hemangi of Noble continues: “These are early days and certainly all evidence that the combination of liberation and stem cell therapies working together at this point is anecdotal. However I am not aware of other medical facilities in the world that offer the synthesis of both to MS patients on an approved basis and it is indeed a rare opportunity for MS patients to take advantage of a treatment that is quite possibly unique in the world”. • Autologous stem cell transplantation is a procedure by which blood-forming stem cells are removed, and later injected back into the patient. All stem cells are taken from the patient themselves and cultured for later injection. In the case of a bone marrow transplant, the HSC are typically removed from the Pelvis through a large needle that can reach into the bone. Log on to ccsviclinic. ca for more information.

  • To the person who asked who came up with the kid name? It was me his dad. It's a unique name, beside you don't hear it everyday and everywhere you go.

  • Who came up with this kids name!

  • My sister is pregnant and due in July. I wonder if the cord blood could help my mom.

  • My son was transplanted 4.5 years ago At Duke for ALD.We traveled over 800 miles because our local hospital which is one of the best told us to go home and enjoy the few years we had with him.

The word needs to be spread of possibilities of cord blood.

My son has a different blood type now and has a future!

  • My wife and I wanted to contact someone at Duke for our daughter. She is a preemie (1 year old now), she has a number of complications and delays, we heard alot of promising results from the research being performed at Duke. Unfortunately we did not save her cord blood because of everything that was going on with the early emergency labor. I was hoping that maybe you may have a contact for us at Duke or maybe instruct me on how to start the process...thanks! Say hi to your son!

  • sorry little man

  • I had an Umbillical Stem Cell Transplant, check out my channel to watch my news story. E-Mail me if you want more information on the treatment I had done in China.

  • Yeah your pretty random. Video's like this bring awareness to how important it is to register as a bone marrow stem cell donor and if your a pregnant woman how important it is to donate the placenta after your child is born. Aside from aplastic anemia there are many people diagnosed with cancer, blood diseases, autoimmune diseases, and metabolic diseases who can be cured by cord blood or donated stem cells. You obviously know nothing. Why don't you do a little research before you start writing.

  • This is just advertizing for an expensive medical procedure that is incredibly rare. Do your homework. Videos like this should make you think twice about the intentions of these companies.

  • ur random=P

  • Nevermind the fact that it saved a child's life. Good job, idiot.

  • Thanks for the defense. Some people!

  • Are you stupid or just dont know what your talking about?? who makes money from cord blood transplants? What are the alternatives? for many congenital abnormalities of the hematopoietic system there are none

  • You are so very wrong!! Why don't you do your homework on the hundreds of miracle treatments being done with cord blood.

  • As someone that works in stem cell research, I can tell you that this is not just advertising. I've personally seen the results, talked to the patients, and monitored their progress. You really shouldn't trash an idea just because you don't understand it. Remember, at one point in history, most people just knew that the earth was flat.... (now aren't you glad that they were wrong???)

  • @milothefierceGreat comment!! We need to take the spreading the word torch into our own hands and let as many people know about the ongoing research and possible new treatments for horrible diseases using umbilical cord blood .. Go to the Corcell website and Cord Blood America to read current news on research and for questions...Corcell has live chat and you can ask questions and get them answered right away!
