These girls have to have a strong understanding of ballet technique. It is the foundation for building up other styles. I'm assuming they trained in ballet and then continued their work through contemporary and lyrical. The choreography is genius, and the dancers flawless.

Its nice to see someone with the same body type as me. I'm definitly uncomfortable showing my hips, like when i'm wearing a swim suit. And being a dancer myself, it really helps to be comfortable and aware of your body. Its releiving to see someone be comfortable with curves, thank you

I've been watching these videos for a while, they're really cool, but there's something that doesn't sit well with me. They are different, raw, and energetic. She creates rhythm where there is nothing, which can be cool, but sometimes just doesn't work or appeal to me...

@brdwlaur13 It's not necessarily that she creates a rhythm out of nothing, but she uses those that are already present. If you watch these videos while wearing headphones, and pick apart each song...She follows different instruments. For instance, in Merry Happy, for a little bit she follows the voices, then immediately switches to following the instrumentation. It looks as if it's wrong, but it's actually genius.

I was just reading the comparrason between Emily and Lauren, it is so hard to compare when they are completely different! I love them both and would do anything to be able to dance like them! This dance though, it one of my favourites! it is so moving :)

Lauren is amazing, and her technique and expression is faultless..but i still feel as if there's something missing. :/ That's why everybody seems to love Emily so much. She has that extra something.
