  • never forget my fav player...thnx for memories ROY

  • cant forget #7

  • good ol days

  • Game 4: 4th quarter aganist the Mavs

    I miss Roy

  • wow jj looked so helpless...

  • AND HE JUST DID THAT YESTERDAY AGAINST THE MAVS! WOO

  • @ShaltNot07 Mavs got the championship tho. hehehe.

  • Joe max deal Johnson is a joke. y the hell would the hawk pay him so much after he blow in the playoff.

  • Roy is an underrated defener

  • Roy is a very underrated defender

  • thats b-roy for ya!

  • LOOK AT BROYS D

  • 100th rating

  • fake

  • I remember this game, amazing performance. Thanks for posting. It's too bad the rest of the league has no idea how good the guy really is.

  • @infinityjrh dude he is on the west all stars are u kidding me you think they dont think hes good???

  • God dang he's like a carmelo without size

  • Ya except for he plays defense and can pass

  • B-Roy is my fav. player, been since his huskie dayz and he iz da fucking truth!!!...locks down defensively, gets rebonds assists & when he chooses too an unstoppable scorer...i mean 42 on artest & battier com on now non NBA fan, B-Roy haterz get real

  • d-wade can suck a dick

  • fuck you damonwilliams...you CLEARLY don't watch B. Roy on a regular basis or you only say that because he doesn't get the hype that other all-stars get. Just because he's not in the media 24/7 doesn't mean he's not a go to guy. Any knowledgeable NBA fan who watches the Blazers can tell you that he is a BEAST in the 4th quarter!!!!!!!!

  • i kno he is a beast and he is my favorite player. but what im saying is that he is no d wade

  • not consistant? he leads the team in pts among other things

  • what i meant to say was that he not the best go to guy.

  • Blazers have the Rose Garden :D

  • i love dah kid

  • thats cuz portland has the best crowd in the NBA

  • @TeRRoRx503 then okc came around

  • @BREQvids portland and utah have better crowds, plus they have history the thunder are like 3yrs old i think

  • @naz8618 no way.. im a laker fan and the loudest croud ive ever heard was when the lakers played thunder in the 1st round couple years ago

  • You know what I notice about the Portland crowd? When we win a regular season home game our crowd is louder than most home crowds during NBA finals games.

  • that's true. I wouldn't say the loudest quite yet (although I don't know who's louder.lol) but we seem to be the most invested in the regular season. I remember Jon Barry saying Portland has "the most intelligent" crowd...as in we know when to cheer and what to be upset about, which I found kind of interesting.

  • Amazing defense at the end.

  • doesnt help that atlanta has shit offensive sets, all they do is iso iso iso, should have done at least pick and roll there

  • 2:15 Josh Smith is like "what can I do against that?"

  • I love Roy, and of course it's only his third season. He's definitely more poised and fundamentally sound, and probably more clutch than Clyde.

But remember: the thing about superstar players is that they give you a chance to win any game, anywhere, against any defense. When Clyde was playing, it didn't matter if it was in Utah, in Los Angeles, in Chicago, or in Boston: Portland had a chance to win.

Roy's not quite there yet. He still struggles on the road and against good teams.

  • I don't think its all Roy but the team the team is not there yet because they're young that it has huge upside. Good thing is that the blazers can beat any team in the league in the garden. Once the team gets more experienced, they'll be the big threat in the conference and the league

  • I think Roy is actually there now. He went on that 20+ points a game streak awhile back. He owned Kobe in Portland a couple nights ago, put up 26 against the Spurs in San Antonio. But we'll see come playoff time.

  • I can partially agree with both of you. Roy is not a consistant go to man. I think he'll be there next year if he isnt yet but he is a great player.

  • that's the dumbest statement I've ever heard. Did you just happen to catch one of the 10 games where Roy wasn't terrific last year and based your opinion on that?

  • lmao!

    You have no fucking clue.

  • what are even trying to say you confusing fuckin putts

hes not consistant yet hes a great player ?????

do you watch the play offs, 40 against artest and battier ????

  • Roy will be a great player. He may very well lead Portland to a championship. But don't knock Clyde Drexler. During his prime, Clyde averaged 23.4 point, 7.4 rebounds, 7.2 assists, 2 steals and nearly a block during the playoffs. He could take over a game in so many ways, not just by scoring.

  • i guess johnson has never learned the word "pass"

  • I'm going tonight to see them against the Hawks, i can't wait to see what Roy does. this time

  • i was at that game!

    the 1 u went 2!

    lol

  • roy did it again tonite, 2/8/9 against ny. driving layup at the buzzer.

  • these team is gonna be something else. roy will be their jordan and aldridge will be their pippen. roy's gonna be better than clyde in my opinion, just because i think he's actually gonna lead them to a championship. by the way, roy's new legendary game is his 52 pointer against the suns in that win. epic.

  • I'm hoping.. Batum can be the Pippen... Roy the Jordan...

nahhh, I'm hoping we just stay the Blazers. No Jordan or Pippen etc. Just Roy and Batum etc.

  • Blazers is the definitely the most exciting team to watch, in my opinion. XD

  • that's my boo...i love him

  • great video. idaho is considered as the northwest.

  • Roy will be a Hall of Famer. And the best player in their franchise history. Over Clyde and Rasheed. lol sorry Drexler.. Aldridge will not be as "history making". However, he is currently showing the same sort of play as an early Rasheed, haha a quiet, dedicated, non-insane version.

  • Roy is legend.

  • Roy is def a potential MVP in any of the upcoming seasons...he's an all around amazing player offensively and defensively...I LOVE HIM

  • Brandon Roy is just incredible !!!!

He looks mighty good in a Blazer uniform.

He is becoming one of the tip top NBA players.

  • Roy is quietly becoming one of the top players in the NBA..and I mean tip top players.

  • Roy, pride of the Northwest. No matter where u from, Seattle or Portland, u know hes the shit.

  • Mike Rice is da shit

i like him in the beginning when he says if they make it this next poseition the fans will go crazy including the blazer anouncers

  • kobe can't do all this stuff when matters.

lebron can't do all this stuff when matters.

wade can't do all this stuff when matters.

brandon roy CAN. start believing. it's time.

  • roy was a 1 man show that night, and joe johnson shoulda passed the goddmamn ball

  • pass da ball to who? he da only 1 on the hawks that can create his own shot. roy just played good d

  • thank you for this

  • if you're a parent or a coach, tell them to idolize roy! He does everything the way it should be done!

  • dude is nice, sick with it

  • B-Roy's Sumthing Special......They Really Got Ah Chance This Year.

  • nah, not this year. they got an amazingly talented team but they will need 2 or 3 years to grow together and mature. by then, oden will be a 15/12/3blocks beast, LMA will be a top 10 PF and roy will simply be amazing... enough to be a serious title contender + bayless, outlaw/webster, rudy, batum, etc. are also very talented.

  • Anything with Oden is gravy. They're adding another year of experience and growth for the players from last year, plus the already mature Rudy Fernandez, plus something the team really lacked in Jerryd Bayless. A borderline cocky, born scorer who brings the attitude that nobody should ever beat them. This team is going to the playoffs, and there's just no telling what will happen after that.

  • I don't think they need 2 or 3 years, look at them now? 14-7, a pretty dang good record for one of the youngest teams in the NBA. And Aldridge is already one of the top 10 PF in the league, and Roy is already amazing.

  • iono they my fav team but in the playoffs its gonna come down to experience and i know you see how atlanta lost ocmposure last yr

  • Brandon Roy is my favorite player in the NBA. He's so good. I wanna play just like him.

  • go kill urself he dosent play for the sonics...trailblazers dumbass

  • he is from seattle dumbass

  • he's saying his new team is the blazers since the sonics moved from his hometown to Oklahoma. Quiet down boy.

  • Seattle and UW's finest. I'm glad he plays for my newly adopted team! (RIP Sonics)

  • look out-

  • Roy is amazing

  • What a game! (TM)

Joe Johnson needs to learn how to pass.

  • u aint kiddin he could of setup Josh Smith for a shot or somebody

  • joe johnson doesn't need to learn how to pass, hes gotten 17 assists in a game and for a shooting guard that is amazing

  • Amazing game and comeback, great player.

  • I was there, and was seriously considering leaving early in the fourth quarter, before they started to make a run. What a comeback.

  • Brandon Roy = Superstar.

  • all star roy is gonna back up kobe at the ASG, congratulations buddy.

  • and to think, he almost didn't play this game because of the flu. . .

  • MVP

  • fucking amazing

  • holy shit- Roy is so money and he doesnt even know it. That D on the last play was a thing of beauty!!!!

  • R-O-Y = M-V-P

  • THANKS

  • that was monstrous D by roy but aldridge did a lot on that play too

  • Clutch

  • Is it me or did it feel like and sound like a playoff atmosphere?

  • its just u

  • All star for sure!

  • this is a sophmore NBA player... what you are seeing is the growth of a future MVP

  • MVP

  • wow.. awesome defense

  • Not to take away from B-Roy's amazing play at the end, but the Hawks are just a horribly coached team. They went away from everything that got them the lead and resorted to simply iso'ing Joe Johnson (still recovering from injury) against Roy the rest of the game. This is an example of why really good coaches (such as Nate McMillan) do more than just roll the ball out on the floor.

  • Well Nate was also just iso'ing Roy...it worked but still. :P

  • Joe Johnson is a great shooter, but he doesn't have the same sort of quickness to the hoop. They'd have been better off putting the ball in someone else's hands and using picks to spring Johnson free.
