I've been to lots of walmarts that won't price match AND take coupons for that item. I'll have to recheck that again. I swear walmrt managers make up stuff as they go along just give attitude. Yes, it's corporate policy, BUT the managers have the right to do what they want (literally told to me, albeit at Target, but same thing).
You should care about matching the sizes....you stated you didn't care and were going to try anyway.....it is those like you who make the stores change their policies and have restrictions. Thanks asshole.

I do the ad matches THEN give coupons. I also carry a printout of the walmart ad match polices and coupon policies with me. Also, I called the walmart I was going called 2 make sure that they did do the ad match PLUS coupons.

@rainranda5 Never on price matching, but sometimes with coupons. However, I do expect this to change due to their new policy stating that you do not have to have the ad on your person. You just tell them the price you "saw" it for and they "should" take your word for it or at least have a copy of the ad on-hand.
@thecouponvirgin I was just at walmart today, with my target ad, crest toothpaste $2.49, walmart its $2.77 and i had a $1 off coupon. They wouldn't let me use both. they said if they price matched, i couldn't use a manufacturer coupon on the price match item. I wish they would get this right across the board.
@pennylane36 To tell you the truth, you are not alone. So here's what to do: always have your ad match guarantee as well as your coupon policy on your person. With a black permanent marker, write across the top of both papers this number in bold: 1800-925-6278 (walmart's corporate offices) If you get any refusal or hesitation the next time you're in there, just simply pull out your phone and the papers and viola your problem will be solved. It's just a flat out lie that they cannot do both.

There were at least five sales papers that I had them to price match (Krogers, Safeway, Albertson's, El Rancho Mercado, & El Rio Grande).
