Just back from the skidpad with my NSX. It's actually very different than FR cars (after all it's an MR car).

One of the issues is the slow steering ratio, and I can't find any way to do quick counter steer like in S2000 - I had to let the steering wheel go and catch it at the right spot.

@fookfocketyfookfook not really to be honest even though it is a mid engine car. Honda had built the NSX for corners and if it was difficult to drift then why would pro racers use the NSX in tracks and courses.

@scknight17 Drifting scrubs off speed in racing, and so is avoided. In a mid engined car you can use a large amount of grip from the front and rear tyres, and you get faster turn in from having a low moment of inertia. That's fine if you take the car to the limit of grip and not far beyond, it makes for a very fast cornering car. But if you're purposefully taking the car beyond the limits of grip the low moment of inertia means it will snap oversteer unless your throttle control is perfect.

Though, when drifting the NSX can be slightly difficult the handling of the NSX is much better. now actually thinking about why would anyone really want to drift the NSX when you can use it for the handling anyways. seems kinda stupid for them trying to ruin a perfectly good car. lol

I've no problem with anyone drifting an NSX but what annoys me is people modifying suspension to try and cool down the oversteer. I mean why not just get a 240SX and not ruin the handling in an awesome car?
