@xTCHCx yup I used to say that all the time (esp the abandoned spaceship scene) until I got into some forum brawls where after a while I did have to admit that Alien also incorporate elements from "It! The Terror from Beyond Space" and other classical bug eyed monster films. More like he did a patchwork of a few ideas and his magical team (O'Bannon and H.R. Geiger) added that parasitic lifeform concept that's so effective.
@cloudvol7 That's weird that you'd say that because as a TRUE fan of horror and sci-fi I can saw without hesitation that 95% of all remakes suck the farts out of my ass! Doing constant horrible remakes is part of the reason why today's movie industry is considered a joke by anyone who knows about cinema.
