That's the difference between people who quit with allen carr and people who quit using NRT. Easyway people are usually content and have made peace with their bullshit addiction from the last puff. NRT people are agitated, depressed, IN DENIAL, defeatist, and always jumping down throats. The only thing that is in that book is the truth. I think this bloke said it best in the last sentence of the video when he said " I do not wan't to hear it."
Didn't notice your comment because it was hidden (rated so negatively I had to click a link to see it)
Vaping is a lot less expensive, true. But I've been to I lost track of how many e-cig websites, and invariably in a FAQ or warning or disclaimer it always mentions that vaping is neither approved for, recommended for, or intended for kicking nicotine addiction.
Meanwhile, the book is no more than 15 dollars (plus tax), it can be read in less than a day, and you'll be done. You'll be a non-smoker without cravings and urges for the rest of your life. You'll also be a lot cheerier than you are in this video. Most importantly, despite your nonsense about different people needing different ways and circumstances and such, it's designed to work for every smoker.
Get over yourself. Probably save yourself some aggravation if you just read the damn book.
I'm not going to tell you to use the book. But I am going to let you know why other people do.
It'll save you money. NRT methods are crazy expensive, take three months before you stop the constant stream of nicotine into your body, and they aren't designed to work. 10% success rate? No thanks. And they do nothing to stop you spending the rest of your life feeling deprived, longing for another smoke while you force yourself to resist temptation.
I stopped after 16 years smoking after reading the book and it was ridiculously easy. All it takes is to "get it"... There's no pleasure what so ever in smoking, it's just drug addiction, and, thankfully, one of the easiest to kick... Once u know how...
Allen Carr Allen Carr Allen Carr. Just kidding mate. actually I used part of his method to quit recently myself. And then I started up again - of course part of his method was I was never to ever light up again, so I violated the method lol. I would guess almost all the feedback you've had has been with good will and intent by people who like your channel, but of course people can easily overstep their boundaries too and be unintentionally patronising. As you say, horses for courses.
I have a book called "How to deal with suggestions from others for giving up smoking". You can find it on.....erm...no you can't maybe I just made the whole thing up. lol.
drawing and writing might help form a new habit with your hands. The fact that you desire to give up smoking so much has become even more powerful than the desire to keep smoking do you really want to give up or do you just want the drama of trying to give up and there you have the three possibilities of one desireable subject.
About ten years ago a friend handed me this book raving about it, and I tried it, I honestly did. Im still a smoker to this day, lol. My sister tried his method, and it failed miserably.
Wanna know what the irony of the whole Allan Carr thing? He died of lung cancer after being off them for (I think) 23 years..

@AlannahBabalon156 LOL about allen carr though :) My point is that it is all horses for courses. Some prefer ne method, some prefer another method and I am finding my feet with one particular method atm. Using vaporised tobacco as NRT
