Here's an alternate take on the way Edward told the decorator about the train staying:

After Edward said " THE TRAIN STAYS" he then grabbed the decorator by his tie and proceeds to slap him... after that, Edward says to him "TAKE THAT BITCH !!!!"

Kate RUINED the living room! It looks so boring, so dull, so....ordinary. I mean, I'm glad the train is still there, but come on!! The whole place is suppose to look wacky and toyland-ish. I'm upset. But I still love this show!

This is when the show started going down hill. The song was excellent as it was originally, why did they need to change it? The house without all the cool toys just isn't the same, it was a part of the them of the show, how Edward was like a kid.

and ironically, it was around this time that 4 of the Embassy-TV produced '80s shows began updating their songs.

- Diff'rent Strokes (which also defected from NBC to ABC in 1985 as well) updated their theme song

- Facts of Life, The updated theirs

- Silver Spoons (Twice updated their theme song, which both versions alternatng with each other between 1986 and '87)

- Who's the Boss? (They didn't update their theme song until later on in 1986, though)
