  • I had a 83delta 88 green soooo! ready all original miss that car.

  • Those hubcaps.. Uggh!

  • im surprised it has a v6 the v8 makes such a difference

  • nice to see one with pin striping not a huge twix sticker

  • I have a 77 Delta Royale. Amazing car.

  • beautiful car!

  • nice olds the pin stripe kind of makes the car pop out and goes with the car and on top of that it is a coupe u do not see many delta 88 coupes out there now a days i only see the 4 door sedans

  • I still wish i had mine, that was such an excellent car to drive.

  • Wow, gorgeous and I absolutely LOVE the pin striping

  • i didn't think that Gm's "Middle Child" oldsmobile made a 2 door impala based vehicle

  • i miss my old 84 Delta 88 Royal Brougham LS never had a problem with it

  • wonderful car, too bad about that V6 but wonderful car. Put a 455 in it

  • Drove ok until you hit a steep hill, then the torque disappeared and those 115hp in a two ton car became apparent.

  • i got a 1988 oldmobile delta 88 rorale brougham pearl white with a 3.8 v6 .. i need help on finding the sills for the door so water wont go in or for the moon roof too any help any1

  • nice looking older Olds 88... rare to find that 3.8L v6 engine in those... Even tho it was standard, most came with the V8... GM made the 231 standard starting in 1977

  • That's in remarkable shape. The pinstriping is really well done, but I'm not a personal fan of it on this particular car. I dunno. Maybe because I grew up in one of these.. I have an '85 Delta 88 Royale Brougham of my own now, and I can't wait to get it fixed up. I'm waiting for spring so I can show it off!

  • Wow! that is one beautiful Oldsmobile!

    I love the pinstriping!

  • I had an 83 Brougham White/Burgundy velour int. nice car, good motor. Oldsmobile's variety of cars back in the 80's were doing very well in sales. The Delta was an Oldsmobile lover's( "poor man"s) Ninety Eight

  • Mint Condition ! mines a 85 delta 4 door 307

  • That's an 84 or 85. The 83s have different grilles and taillights.

  • very nice Olds Delta 88 Royale Coupe I had an 83 with a bad motor I should have kept it cause now I have an 87 Custom Cruiser Wagon and I need a front end lol... really nice ride though JoJo

  • man that old's is beautiful!

  • Thanks, it really is nice for it's age.

  • I had an 83 Brougham coupe like yours, but i didn't know Olds put manual (fruit roll-ups) windows in the Brougham's. Is it because you have a "Royale Brougham"? I thought Olds put out either the "LS Royale " or the "Brougham" or were there 3 models??

  • @jojocats2 it is a awsome baeutyful car.i hope you stil have ot wash it waxed it drive a piece of history to hope no massive burn outs be pride of it

  • @jojocats2 It's a beautiful Oldsmobile, but if you put the original wheel covers on the car it would make it that much better

  • Beautiful car, JoJo..one of the last of the full sized GM cars! I had a 3.8 in my 79 Grand Prix...couldn't or wouldn't die! The A/C went out which is death for a car here in Florida. :) Jack

  • Thanks for the comment! The A/C died in my Olds a while back too. I think it just needs a compressor though.

  • Hey, JoJo...I think that's a typical problem with aging compressors...a new one will spark it back to life, I figure! :) Jack

  • Man thats really really nice, I don't agree with the funky pinstripes, I would rather that had been left off, but I love those cars, I seen a 79 Delta 88 Brougham that was mint, had brown interior and was a yellowish color, but I sooo wanted it. GM put that 3.8 in alot of vehicles, I knew a guy that had a huge 88 Cadilliac 4 door, Seville I think, but it had the 3.8 I thought that was way too small an engine for that size car!

  • Hey, thanks for viewing! I don't care for the pinstripes either, and yeah, and 3.8L V6 does seem small for a 3700+ pound vehicle.

  • Nice find! It's hard to believe those cars came with the 3.8 option!!

  • Thanks! I actually don't think it was an option then, I think the guy put it in himself.

  • Wikipedia says they were, the 77-85 LeSabre was too (like the one I had)

  • they were standard in from 1977-85... When GM downsized the B/C platform, all B series came standard with the 231 (3.8L) v6 engine including the Pariesienne. Only the Chevy Impala/Caprice didn't use the 231 standard, it used a 250 I-6 standard, with 231 starting as standard in 1980. The 4.3L replaced the 3.8 in 85 in the Chevy and Pontiac discontinued in 86, with Olds and Buick B bodies dropping in 85.

  • As if this big car has only a 3.8 V6! It should at least have a 305 or even better a 350 :D then again the 3.8 has more power than the 305 lol.

  • Yeah, I agree, the motor should be bigger! I'm actually thinking about putting a Chevy 327 or a Chevy 350 L-48 in mine once I have it restored! Thanks.

  • nice so when ya going to get your olds out and do a detailed view?

  • Thanks for commenting! I do hope to get mine out soon.

  • decetnt car

    3.8 fuel injected like mine?

the guy needs a new set of opera lamps ont he passanger side, it turned yellow lol

  • amazing very nice

  • Thanks.

  • yummy! thats a sexy car. for sale?
