  • Robert Smith definitely likes trains

  • Simon on bass 100%

  • Lol Tolhurst is doing a better job on the throne than Jason, and Lol wasn't the brightest bulb in the tanning bed.

  • Post Punk forever!

  • definitely simon gallup, cuz lol didn't play the drums while phil was in the band. lol pretend played the keyboards while the real guy playing the keys was the mighty porl thompson. a shame since lawrence was a good drummer for the cure

  • I love young Robert :)

  • I think that he says "These are 2 songs about...trains."

  • @ooviedoc nope, that's simon man.

  • I like trains :|

  • wish i were there. and another bucket list song to learn the bass guitar to

  • Nuttin but the best...

  • Uffff!!!!

  • at 1:00 - Robert says with his eyes "Damn it Simon.. Just play the right notes"

  • @bassnicola I think it's not Simon, think it's Phil Thornally playing the bass

  • @bassnicola I've seen it twice. Looks like it's Simon!! Hard to catch at first. How different is his wardrobe, hair, standing and moving (almost non-moving) on stage compared with several other videos!! Only for the picking close ups you can identify his hands and particular style! Love these two songs!! Come to Mexico again, Robert!!!

  • not because Mexicans do not hear this music if it is to demand more fucking post punk

  • Jumping someone else's train & Another journey by train ♥

  • Does he say "about 'trains'" or "about 'trying?'" Either one would make sense...therein lies the brilliance!

  • @jetelegen He says trains, I love how cockney he sounds in this song :L

  • It sure would be nice to hear Robert,Simon and Lol reunite to record a few tracks from the Faith album(30 years) . Especially, Carnage Visor

  • 380 likes was me, sorry :P

  • @b0sh30 suck my balls

  • Where is Smith's awesome hair here?

  • Best thing that ever came out of Crawley,

  • Posted on Aug. 25th 2010 Lol Tolhurst was on KXLU radio, And said he would like to rejoin The Cure. He said he would like to join in the 'Faith Tour' 30th anniversary. It sounds like he has already been speaking with Robert. And stated that 'the ball was in Roberts court'. AWESOME!!!!!!!!!

  • hahaha, at 1:01 simon and robert mess up! Simon looks over (recover!) he thinks ...

  • one of best cure's live song ever

  • What year was this? 1982?

  • @Phyle9 this is late 1980 or 1981

  • The best base of the cure. Three Imaginary Boys Her,, Regards Hans From México

  • I feel sorry for the poor drummer. Are they trying to kill him? He looks like he is ready to drop!

  • a big slice of joy!

...i think bloc party should pay this band all of their royalties!

  • Is that Tolhurst playing the drums? Yeah, that´s Lol... and is Gallup in the bass? I think he is because of the picking... Anyway, Freaking GREAT!

  • Damn, that's good!!!

If i could have this playing in my eyes and ears as i go about my normal day, i would have it every day every damn second for the rest of my life!!

    so raw and pure

    Cheers heaps for this.

  • Now this is classic Robert Smith! Great post!!!

  • robert smith just made jizz~

  • Awesome performance by the early Cure!

The fact that they played "Another Journey By Train" really made my day.

  • Sheer brilliance and elegance!

  • great video, flawless album, no filler, thinking man's punk rock

  • Back when this was recorded The Cure also performed "Another Journey By Train" and "10:15 Satuday Night". Do you by chance have these also? ....Nevermind. You have "Another Journey by train" lol, it just came on. Wow, thank you.

  • Sacré poignet les gugusses...

  • I had no idea they put Another Journey By Train on the end at live performances of Jumping Someone Else's Train. Makes sense I guess.

  • Robert Smith Kicks ass

  • @ROCANLOUD3R I heared he wants to rejoin

  • Smith,Tolhurst,Gallup...The best Cure lineup ever!!! Powerful music!!!!!

  • This is the origin of Cure, its a new wave punk band

  • Epic. Simon Gallup is the man!

  • pure post-punk awesomeness

  • apperantly Lol came off the drums because of the bands development musically but after listening to this & Hanging Garden he's a good drummer, think its a real shame the decline of Mr Tolhurst.

  • I actually believe there are 2 versions of that song, the one that's playing now: the original one with one guitar and the one with the 2nd guitar added, the bassline's different too in some parts.
