It certainly seems you could get faster response using that style of motion (as opposed to the Mario Kart setup). Still, I've gotta wonder if F-Zero Wii wouldn't just be a big RSI lawsuit for Nintendo. ;) At any rate I thank you for reminding me of that classic scene from "The Wizard". :)

A wheel? F-Zero controls are too tight for a wheel. Jet fighter pilots don't use a steering wheel. They use a flight stick.

No wii wheel for f-zero, the game is too fast to actually twist that much, however, holding the wiimote and nunchuck up right (like in the game) would be cool, steering with the wiimote, and shifting with the nunchuck

I think the Nunchuck would be used with the control stick, and A is the Accelerator, B and Z are the Shoulders, and Twitching the Nunchuck/Remote left or right would attack.

The GC and Classic Controllers would likely be compatible.

Twisting the Nunchuck or Remote could be the Drift Mechanism. C can be a shortcut for the Spin as well.

yeh, but thats typical nintendo. Every Console has a new batch of remade clasic games. there was mario 64 then mario sunsine then mario galaxy, Zelda OOT, Zelda wind waker, Zelda Twilight princess,Super Smash Bros, Smash bros. melee, smash bros Brawl. The list goes on. So even if mario tennis is on all consoles. Except DS. It Wouldn;t come as a suprize to anyone if they made it for wii. And because they are really fun games i hope they do.

One thing I'm excited for is FPS's for the Wii. Since you will aim by pointing at the screen, it will have deadly accuracy. I've gotten really pissed at my XBOX when zooming in on a target. I zoom in, then aim with the joystick, but since the joystick isn't like the Wii controller, or the DS's Touch screen, then I move the crosshair too far.

I twitch the joystick, whoops, too far, I try to re-aim, whoops, too far. But since AI players have computer made accuracy, they usually don't miss, so I'm dead within 5 sec. But with the Wii, it will just be point the controller, and shoot. Very easy and accurate. The controller may make the Wii the ultimate FPS console, ever.
