Seriously, while Smallville is good, I really hate how the writers can simply make a person bad one second, good the next, reveal the character is secretly being good, bad again, character finds redemption, falls back into evil and is killed in the crappiest way possible. Davis deserved a better departure from the show.
I just have to laugh at how stupid People can be in this episode which reflects of the possible outcome if this was all real. I mean one second they worship him and then all of a sudden through some reporter bitches report on tv which has no visible proof whatsoever people start to believe her, thinking clark is an enemy? Then theres the part where this random lady says Whose he decide who lives and who dies, how the fuck is clark supost to be everywhere anytime etcc??
Clark is fool and an idiot for not listening to chloe in this episode. I mean she told him not to go public because she knows what will happen. When he does go public then it backfires.
And I hate him for given this story to lois lane and not respecting Chloe because she has been there for him for years and protected his sceret and because of him she lost her job , future and marrige.
This is what I don't get: Why is it that Clark never listens to Chloe the first time round? Chloe tells him not to out himself and he does exactly that! Which backfires on him. Then, Chloe tells him to run from the gvt agents and refuses only to end up running away later and meeting her in the woods. Now Chloe has suggested the double identity and he is not even giving it a second thought and yet we know he will end up doing exactly that. What a doofus!!!!
I completely agree! That is what kills this episode for me. Chloe has been there, protecting him, sitting on this story. She got fired because of Clark's stupid secret, she lost her job, her future, her life and he gives the story to Lois??? WTH? and to make it worse, not she is going to die, get killed by Doomsday or whatever because of Clark. I hate Clark. I hope he and Lois end up together because they are both idiots and I want Chloe to end up with Davis once he's saved from the monster.
Ditto on that. I want them both back for next season and to see that relationship grow. it's amazing.
Plus, I think it would be kind of horrid for Smallville to push the destiny crap. Davis is fighting against the monster, but he's doomed to be trapped in it forever. and then he dies. because that's the way it is. and then Chloe gets punished for believing in him. bah.
I want Chlavis for S9 with some kind of arc for Davis redemption, even though he had no control over that. And him with Chloe.
I agree. I used to be a Chlarker, but Clark is a doofus and Lois an Idiot and those two deserve each other. Chloe and Davis should be saved and if Davis can be saved from the monster? That would be so awesome and perfect. He and Chloe can run into the sunset happily. Chloe shouldn't be punished for being amazing, smart, selfless, hardworking and loyal to her friends.

I've watched it about 6 times now! haha I'm so excited for next Thursday, it should be a great episode for Chlavis. I'm just really nervous about them for season finale... :(

Chloe is trying to take a second chance to be with him, and he blew her off, similar to what she did to him in "Abyss".

I only upload the scenes that either Chloe or Davis are in, so a lot of scenes are skipped over if they are not in them.
