Truth is, in boxing, a unorthodox fighter can make the greatest fighter look horrible. Vernon Forrest was one of the most purest boxers of all-time. That being said, Mayorga was a slugger who had a very akward style that forced Forrest in a position where he couldn't make the proper adjustments. I believe that Forrest over trained the second time by training with too good of sparring partners with a orthodox skill, and was caught off gaurd.

Mosley might actually be a better fighter now, late in his career. He will beat Floyd Mayweather I do believe.

I think Mosley is very comparable to Leonard. In a perfect dream match Sugar Ray might be slightly better, but the 2 guys are very close in talent.

Lampley is an idiot. He's comparing Ray Leonard with Mosley. Forrest would have been knocked senseless by Leonard at 25 years old. Mosley is a very good fighter, but he's no Ray Leonard.

Styles make fights! Forrest came out with terrible gameplan in the 1st fight vs Mayorga and got stopped ! He came with a better gameplan in the 2nd fight vs Mayorga but failed to execute it most of the time! Thats why he lost! And Mayorga is one of the fighters like Carl Froch for example when you watch him on tape you can see all the openings and he looks terrible but then when he starts throwing from crazy angles his power bombs you dont know what to do and how to react
