My family has several cabins a little farther down the Mountain Loop Highway, I did this hike as a kid and I really want to go back on it when I move back to the West side of the state.
I really liked this video. I have driven to the trail head before but did not want to park my car in the lot across the street. It seemed a little iffy. but you made me want to go out there and do it now. Thanks for putting this vid together for people to view!

And it is a good place to take your camera for excellent photos. I encountered several bears between the washed out bridge and the town site.
