This is one of my favourite WH songs, but I dont really like the live version of it. The album version sounds so eerie and hauntning. But the magic just seem to disappear on the live version in my opinion. Still a great performance by one of the best bands in long long time.

Thats a ridiculous thing to say! You can question that Jesus was God but you can't question Jesus existed as a person...there is more evidence for his existence than for that of Julius Caeser. Jesus' existence as a historic person is beyond question...
Unfortunately Jesus' being a 'normal human being' is not an option that is left open to us. This is because of the claims he made about himself - He claimed to be God. Normal human beings do not claim to be God. There are two options open to us - Jesus was a lying lunatic or He really was God incarnate. My personal opinion is that He was and is God - lying lunatics do not heal the sick, raise the dead and die and then rise again to show God's love to the world. Jesus life proves He was divine

Hey man I agree these kind of discussions aren't great its much better to talk about these kinds of things face to face. I would just like to make a couple of points.
1st There are many people who have claimed to be the Messiah but none of them ever backed it up by dying and then coming back to life and none of them have been documented like Jesus. 2nd The Bible we read today comes from 5 original Greek manuscripts from within 100yrs of his life & is translated as closely to them as possible.
The claim of his resurrection is just as legitimate as any of his other miracles. There is no document that says Jesus performed miracles and came back from the dead other than the New Testament. and I actually don't know much about the '5 original manuscripts', but thinking reasonably we can only assume that a document this old has been translated very many times. Plus how can any of the other books of the Bible be considered factual if so many have been disgarded over time?
I need to correct myself - there are 4 new testament Greek transcript traditions. The scholars behind translations today - The New King James, No International Version, New American Standard Version and New Living Translations went back to these original manuscripts to create their translations.
