  • That was some smooth OS's

  • I think everyone should stop arguing which akuma is better. They are both good in their own way. Tokido is better at the vortex and momochi is good at zoning, footsies, and fireball games.

  • i think Momochi is a better Akuma than Tokido

  • Wow...never saw uryo taken to school so hard before..

  • Yo Momochi, I herd u liek mudkipz?!?!1?!!

  • He could've done a raging demon at the end for dramatic effect and for the U.

  • Does Momochi option select that jump in at 1:39?? If so what the hell is that input?? and at 1:42 is that also an option select or just a safe jump?

  • @wccira At 1:39 I believe he did j.rh ~ c.lk+lp (os throw) so when the ex seismo made the j.rh whiff he got c.lk. 1:42 was just j.rh ~ c.rh.

  • @reQexe sorry what is j. rh?

  • @wccira jumping roundhouse/fierce kick

  • Momochi is fucking disgusting this makes me sick that people are this good at SF..

  • tht second round opening was insane!

i love watching Momochi playing as akuma/gouki

  • MOMO. Still the best effing Akuma everrr,

  • Momochi has about a minute and a half to punish aggressive moves... lol. What a moron.

  • Some nice option selects by Momochi. It's a shame Uryo didn't pressure more for that Dizzy.

  • c.viper reminds me of storm in marvel vs capcom 2 HAAAA HIAAAAAAAA HIAAAAAAAAAAA

  • My two favourite players... Going 1 on 1!

  • viper scream too damn much.. she must do the same in bed too.. lol

  • My dick got hard from 1:34 onwards

  • Ye momochi is easy. i can see rigth through hes tactics.

  • @DBZ1980s sure you can; hindsight is 20/20

  • Yum, Uryo.

Was hoping he would win; Momo's getting too much attention as of late for raping Daigo.

  • jesus. OS every where in the las round

  • akuma is so sick but his specials are useless cause theyre impossible to set up

  • IMO, Momochi is absolutelly, without a doubt, the best SF4 player I have ever seen...

I was just looking at some Uryo vids, thinking "Wow Uryo is really damn good!" then I saw this vs Momochi in the related and thought "All right now I think he's gonna lose." and yep, I was right. Momochi is amazing.

  • so i was looking for a good Viper vid, and holy fuck even though he lost that viper looks amazing, makes her look really damn fun to play, i heard shes extremely technical though and im a shoto nub :(

  • IMO uryo daigo and wong are the best, in no particular order

  • @legendofsource Daigo beats Wong repeatedly. And personally, Daigo seems to have better composure in tournaments. Wong gets nervous. We can see that at EVO09.

  • highest respect to both players. uryo and momochi are the 2 best in my opinion

  • Ex seismo invulnerability is so short duration that you can punish just by mashing low punches, and i highly doubt they upped its invul frames in ssf4

  • I thought Japanese players didn't attack their opponents when stunned?

  • Momochi should have finished Uryo off with his Ultra to make it more humiliating.

  • Very nice option selects to finish viper off.

  • @loveandpeace1 where were the option selects?

  • At 1:38 anti EX seismo short option select after the jump in. At 1:42 jump RH c.RH option select to beat the dashback.

  • @loveandpeace1

truly a nice possibility to counter the ex seismo, wow me as a viper player also uses the ex seismo as counter option after wakeup, the lp (or lk) option select is truly flawless

  • Too bad for Uryo....

He lost first round win at 1:05 lost combo...

  • Yeah it's pretty fucked up that demon flip > dive kick cleanly beats viper's fierce thunder knuckle.

  • that vortex was executed beautifully!

  • Justin wong is probably the best US player but definitely not the world.

  • well i guess u r right. actually he is quite good even against other world class players, but i dun quite like him

  • Uryo choked hard the first round. x(

  • @doraemonrox Where did he choke?

  • Ahaha hard to explain, only Viper players notice it.

    1:04

Usually its a fierce to ex seismo then an instant BK to finish.

That would had killed him, but he missed the fierce and when straight into the seismo causing the combo not to connect.

  • yeah, he a key knuckle cancel which left him wide open for a punish...you know this two character's are completely different in style but both have low health and both live and die by the mix up and perfect execution

  • Lmao I love how I got thumb down'd when I said Uryo choked, but when I explained it to the less knowledgeable the reasoning I get thumb up'd.

  • Uryo is probably one of the best C.Vipers in the world (if its not the best).

  • "Incredible I can hardly belief my eyes! - K.O.!!"

    this says everything...

  • that last round was nasty! awesome player! Akuma forever!!!!

  • momochi = best player in the world

  • @LUCiUSxAmv umm not really

  • @broli720 its obviously impossible to prove one person (momochi) is the best player in the world. it's apparent LUCiUSxAmv is saying momochi is a kick-ass ssf4 player. !~der lieutenant literal.

  • disgusting, buff vipers wakeup ability plz.

  • sorry... forgot to turn on the CLUTCH switch. :D

  • LOL that was kick ass

  • Momochi WENT IN.

  • haha yes miles. yes he did

  • Comment removed

  • GG.

  • So beautiful. Uryo get his ass Pwned

  • Pretty brutal comeback by Momochi in the end there!

  • why using down round house instead of shuryoken? when Gouki's combo

  • cant quick stand after a roundhouse, so its leaves the wakeup game in akuma's favour

  • aha .. thanks m8

  • the sweep allows momochi to play mindgames with uryo... since the sweep is untechable, it leaves momochi with many mixup options that gouki has...

eg. sweep->demonflip->grab or kick or the next best one is

    sweep->demonflip->punch cancel...

(gives safe jump and allows you to block a reversal attack leaving you to counter)

  • its cause of gouki's vortex possibilities. i'm sure you're gonna ask, "what's a vortex." its simply means his mind games with an opponent who is down. some moves lets the opponent pop back up into standing position right away (ie goshoryuken). the sweep negates their pop up and gives you time to think of you're next mind game move.

  • and the opponent only has a 1 in 4 chance of guessing right, truely godlike stuff.

  • @RiceLUMFAO

Well, unless your opponent has a teleport, then this totally screw gouki's vortex..

    Poor viper..

  • not if they buffer demon.

  • balls of steel @ 1:01. dashing under the fireballs for a throw. uryo is my idol lol

  • Momochi is amazing. His skill is truly undeniable, as much as I love uryo's viper...I gotta admit his performances against anyone (from daigo to uryo to almost anybody) are always strategic and on point.

  • So crazy how momochi zones out 1:32 I wish I knew how to read people like that

  • I'm wondering why didn't the viper do her ultra when gouki's up in the air at the last part. I'm pretty noob here =(

  • because the viper was caught in that gouki vortex

  • Momochi was safe jumping there's no way Ultra would connect

  • That was sick

  • I wanted to see the Ultra bust out at the end :(

  • damn uryo could won the first round if he connected the cr. fp before his ex seismo at the end and the second one, momochi just fucked him up with mixups =) gg

  • uryo is a all around better player. momochi shouldnt have won. just take a look at uryos fights. yes momochi beat daigo which is impressive but still uryo is the cream of the crops

  • why shouldn't have momochi won? uryo was outplayed in this match.

  • loll what the fuck are you talking about? stop making excuses, Momochi beat him and that's that. Maybe you're just mad because you're a Viper mainer...maybe

  • I don't think you've watched many momochi vids hahah

  • That whiffed jumpink HK was priceless. Perfect set up for the last sweep/stun. Momochi's mind games are awesome.

  • y does momochi finish akuma's b&b combo of light tatsumaki to sweept instead of hard shoryuken?? probably because of higher dizzyness rate?

  • So he can safely mixup with the light demon flip with either the kick or grab

  • that doesn't make sense because he can safely mixup with medium demon flip after a hard shoryu. But i can see why it wont be safe because opponents will try to get back up immediately after a hard shoryu but the sweep is somewhat unexpected so.

  • yeah for that stun. the sweep does high stun.

  • same stun on both the sweep gives you an un-techable knockdown for mix-up.

  • I dunno if it deals more stun but it gives and untechable knockdown which gives you more time to think about your mix-up.

  • holy frickin hell @ second round

  • hoooooly fucking shitballs on TOAST!

  • SICK match...though i'm sure Uryo missed the killing combo at the end of round one...cross up HK should have gone into crouching fierce...I think that would have hit and allowed the seismo to combo...maybe he didnt bother due to dodgy range or maybe it was a screw up lol

  • shoryuken weakens the pressure because opponent can quick recover while you are recovering from shoryuken (you cant quick recover after sweep). which makes situation even in terms of pressure.

stun is only important when rushing.

  • vipers move mechanics just isnt worth it IMO. She has to be 100% spot on for alot of things, especially the SNK rippoff ground pound, super jump, in air fire kick.

  • i think you're totally wrong about her mechanics not being worth it, but you're definitely entitled to your own opinion. i agree that there are somethings that are difficult about her however its not impossible for a player to be roughly 90% with her executing things.

also viper is more like captain commando than any snk char in existance...if anything she just LOOKS like a cross between vanessa and cammy.

  • Just saying SNK had a character that was a female spy that used technology as she fought a couple years ago.

  • 2nd round is the best

  • this may be a noob question but im curious as to why momochi cHKs after the tatsu rather than a dp?

  • because now MOMOCHI play variabily, no same and evolved, now game in japan know much, tatsu + shoryu him use et END combo maybe or when critically situation

  • just a guess but i think it's to put pressure on uryo. just another way for him to mix-up his game and create his own pace.

  • It contributes to the stun bar more than the srk would in that combo.

  • thats what i thought at first but i wasnt sure.thanks

  • Sweep doesn't allow for quick recovery. Gives Momochi time to setup for his high/low mix-ups on Uryo's recovery. As you can see, he went low 3 times and Uryo guessed wrong all 3 times.

  • also does more stun i bleieve

  • i like i like

  • Man that was an awesome 2nd round.

  • love how momochi whiff the jumping HK to hit viper low...

  • wow, he was doing that on purpose? Why is that?

  • it is part of his mix-up game,

he is intentioanlly missing the jumping HK so that the enemy will think to block high, only to be hit by a low attack, momochi's combo enseus

  • Is there less recovery on a late whiffing jump hk than an early one that comes out fully?

  • Comment removed

  • he didnt miss the jumping HK. viper has invincibility frames on ex seismo startup but he started the c. lk to stuff it and proceeded with his BnB combo.

  • at 1:41 the jumping HK whiffs due to backdash late which he punishes quickly with the c. HK. there are no jumping roundhouse feints.

  • momochi is too good

  • word.

  • uryo is too fast
