  • Because it would cost billions to restructure many of the city's stations and tunnel heights.

  • Sydney is built on a differnent train system. The train trakcs their are wider

  • melbourne used to have double deck trains. they had soo many problems they were withdrew from service in 2002. they were called the 4D trains

  • The 4D was one a one off. There was only one in service. Melbourne doesn't need Double Deckers. If anything Sydney needs even more room. Ever been on a Western Line train at 5:30 in the afternoon? Like being in an oven

  • well, there was on 4D train, a four carriage set that was often coupled with a 3 set Comeng. It also couldn't go on all lines as a lot of lines had bridges too low for it.

  • perhaps cause sydney is more populated?

  • and wats the point of this

  • I rarely do train vids. The only reason I did this one was I had just returned from a Farscape convention in Sydney and since I've seen many other vids of this type here, I decided to add my 5 cents. The next time I'll be on a train is mid January 2008.

  • do a vid of the v/line locos arriving and departing
