Depends who you go to and your pain tolerance... obviously. Its surgery... and youre fully awake and alert.... some spots werent numb and i could feel and hear my muscle and tissue ripping, also mine got stuck on something in one area of my chest and i had to have it ripped through the section to get [it was a vein or vessel or something of some sort] and it was painful as fuck to rip through whatever it was but the pocket needed to be finished to fit the implant. it bruised my entire upper and

mid chest for quite some time and i felt like i was hit by a truck for a while until i could go back to work. basically you just need to think of it as surgery, cause well, thats what it is. its the same as getting a breast implant except your awake and might not be numbed depending on what artist you see....
