  • Thankyou so very much for sharing this video! I needed this today! God bless! :)

  • The study found that people who attend a college religion class (as many Mormons do) answered three (out of 32) more questions correctly. Many Latter-day Saints also serve full-time gospel teaching missions where their knowledge of religion is expanded further. Additionally, Mormons are encouraged to have daily personal scripture study and to study with their families.

  • The Church places great emphasis on helping and encouraging its members to increase their religious knowledge. Mormon Sunday services include two hours of religious instruction as well as an hour-long worship service. One of those hours is spent in a study of the scriptures, including the Holy Bible. Additionally, high school-age Mormons attend seminary classes, and college-age students attend religious education classes (called institute)

  • Zechariah, a young man of priestly descent, was among the exiles who returned from Babylonian captivity to Jerusalem in 538 B.C. He is identified as the son of Berechiah, who was "the son of Iddo...

  • CUSCO, PERU

Heavy rains triggered flooding in Bolivia and Peru at the end of January, impacting 24,000 families in Bolivia and 12,000 families in Peru, according to the report.

Eighty member homes were damaged and two were destroyed by the flooding. The floor of one meetinghouse was damaged.

  • All about joy

Newly called leaders reminded of goodness

  • Powerful aftershocks were rattling Haiti more than a week after the main quake. Eventually, the seismic activity will settle and recovery will begin. The Church's presence and humanitarian work, meanwhile, are expected to be felt long after the rubble has cleared. The Church's ongoing efforts to provide relief to Haitians of all backgrounds will be made possible by the global generosity and big hearts of its members and friends.

  • It's anyone's guess when life will truly return to "normal." No time soon. Still, Haitians are doing what they can to realize some resemblance of the routine. Barbershops are re-opening and street vendors have returned, hawking their wares. Sabbath services are planned at meetinghouses and members look forward to once again worshiping together.

  • FAIRLDSdotORG

    for your anti-mormon ways, theembracedofgod.

  • wow isn't this video the biggest spin in history. lol.

if they are so confident on this "finding" then why don't they put a map in the book of mormon then?

  • Sometimes people put on brave faces to mask their struggles, Boye said. Comparing members to swans, he described how it may appear on the outside that everything is OK, while below the surface, they're paddling frantically.

  • joseph smith lied

  • actually Joseph Smith told the truth and sealed it with his blood

I am sorry you have been deceived.

  • @omiolo I know Joseph Smith was a great man.

  • @Mahonrrie He still is.

  • @omiolo yeah, I know. thanks

  • Joseph smith NEVER lied, but was a true prophet of our LORD.

  • The book of Mormon is the stick of Joseph. Ezekiel called the records sticks!

  • Have you actually read Ezekiel 37? Read it and then tell me the same thing. Is it record of Joseph or is it northern and southern kingdoms? and has anything to do with a written record!

  • Northern Kingdom actually. Which is exactly where the skill of sheets of metal were started. That technology of Metalworking was brought with them to the New World which only makes sense why the Book of Mormon was on such plates.

i've read The Old Testament more than you have fingers on your hand.

  • The Northern Kingdom is where plates were being created for record keeping in Lehi's day around 600BC and it also correllates with the dating of the OTHER plates found throughout the OLD world.

  • You will have to do better than that, can you show any metal works done in Israel like you said for writing and how it came to the new world? There must be some archeological proof by now.

Remember there is a big difference between engraving an object and complete writings.

  • Archeological proof? Matt. 11:38 Then certain of the scribes and of the Pharisees answered, saying, Master, we would see a sign from thee. 39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign.

The Lord JesusChirst is inviting you to know the fullnes His Gospel.

The sing or proof that He is giving you is The Book of Mormon.

  • That does not answer the question. and if you are going to quote scripture make sure it correct. it is not Matthew 11:38-39 it is matthew 12:38-39.

Now read 2 Corinthians 11:4 and Galatians 1:6-8 "accursed" this does not sound good! The BoM does not have the "fullness" according to the LDS sorry to say!

  • The Book of Mormon has the fullness of the Eternal Gospel of Jesus Christ.

We declare it unto the world.

The word of God is hard to the skeptical.

  • So you believe between the Bible and the Book of Mormon you have all the information you need to spend eternity with God in the highest Heaven right. I mean its in your own writing as well, D&C 42: 12 "And again, the elders, priests and teachers of this church shall teach the principles of my gospel, which are in the Bible and the Book of Mormon, in the which is the fulness of the gospel."

  • But for us is imposible to have salvation in ignorance, becouse we need the God's

With the Revelation of God, Priesthood and Prophets we can be guided in the right way to Jesus Christ.

So, the BOM has the fulness of the gospel.

Supposing the Holy Scriptures don't exist you can know the truth through Revelation.

"Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets". Am. 3:7

  • The word "nothing" in Amos 3:7 must be interpreted by the context. Amos 3:1-7 really refers to God bringing judgment against His people Israel because of their sin. And He says He will do "nothing" (to punish or judge them) without warning them first. The Bible shows He did what He said He would do.

  • Who is misinterpreting scriptures?

    ...

  • Since the Introduction to the Book of Mormon states that it contains "the fulness of the everlasting gospel" can you give me verses that teach the doctrines of pre-earth existence, plural gods with wives, temple marriage, chance to repent after you die, temple rituals for the dead, three levels of heaven, etc.?

Where do I find your concept of eternal marriage in the Book of Mormon?

Does God change, or change his word? No!

    God Bless!

  • Yes, God doesn't change his Holy word. He only fulfill it like the law of Moses.

You sound like Satan, watch yourself and be humble as Christ teaching withot offending. Use more the Holy Bible and less arguments.

But has no point to speak with someone that only want to fight.

I hope you can be smart and read the Book of Mormon with prayer and faith in Jesus Chist with a sincere heart so you can learn about those doctrines that you told (some of them wrong).

  • So then J. Smith fulfilled the New Testament?

Are you sure it is Satan I sound like? or maybe its your conscious that is getting to you via God?

Why can't I read the Book of Mormon and check it to the Bible then maybe some logic? And if it passed then go to prayer? If people did that, there would be no LDS left.

I don't want to fight, but I do want you to be saved! Just check for yourself please!

  • I want the same for you brother, God bless you and have peace.

  • That statement was NOT directed towards us, but instead towards the people of Galatia.

we don't preach another gospel. Nor do 2 Corinthians speak about Moroni specifically, because the angel of the LORD CAN come in HIS name.

Nor does it say that all angels will be fake!

  • The angel Moroni who appeared to Joseph Smith also confirmed that "Jesus Christ was come in the flesh" by quoting Old and New Testament scriptures which were fulfilled with his coming (Joseph Smith—History 1:40). He also stated that his (Moroni's) purpose was to reveal a book "giving an account of the former inhabitants of this continent" and containing the "everlasting Gospel...as delivered by the Savior" following his mortal ministry.

    cont.

  • The stated purpose of the Book of Mormon is in fact to convince both "Jew and Gentile that Jesus is the Christ" (title page); as such, it is subtitled Another Testament of Jesus Christ. Latter-day Saints believe it to be a second witness, after the Bible, of Jesus Christ's divine mission. If Moroni were Satan or one of Satan's ministers acting as an evil instrament, he surely would not have done so much to convince mankind to believe in Christ; it goes counter to Satan's purpose Matthew 12:25.

  • The teachings of Joseph Smith, the Book of Mormon, and the LDS Church affirm that Jesus is the Christ and that he "came in the flesh" as prophesied and affirmed in scripture. For Satan to inspire these latter-day truths goes counter to Christ's own teachings (Matthew 12:2526; also Matthew 9:3334; Mark 3:2230; Luke 11:1426; Jesus the Christ, pp. 265266).

  • In 2 Nephi 3:3 and 23, Joseph, son of Lehi, was promised "thy seed shall not be destroyed," but Mormon 8:2-5 and Ether 4:3 say that the Nephites were "all destroyed." That included all of Joseph's descendants! A "god" who would make promises and then break them is certainly not immutable or unchangeable.

    Just some food for thought.

    Take care and God Bless!

  • 1 Nephi 10:3-11 has Lehi giving more specific "prophecies" of the coming of Christ than all Old Testament prophets put together! He supposedly lived in Jerusalem prior to some Old Testament writers and contemporary with others, but there is no Biblical or historical evidence of his existence in either the old or new world.

  • 1 Nephi 5:14 says that Lehi did not know what tribe of Israel he was from until the brass plates were brought to him from Jerusalem. That seems strange since Lehi had supposedly lived all his days in Jerusalem (1 Nephi 1:4). Devout Jews of that era prided themselves in keeping meticulous family genealogies.

  • Some holes in the B.O.M. are 1 Nephi 1:1-4 says Lehi, a devout Jew living in Jerusalem, kept a sacred record in the Egyptian language. But Jews were enemies of the Egyptians in 600 BC. King Josiah was killed in a battle with Egypt about 608 BC, and Judah paid tribute to Egypt after that (2 Chronicles 35:20-36:4). Since Hebrew was the sacred language and the Lord was then "against Egypt" (Jeremiah 46:1-2), no devout Jew would write in Egyptian.

  • Bountiful? there is no city bountiful or even close, as for oases's, there are alot of them on the Arabian Peninsula. I was over there for months (golf war) and saw alot of the landscape. It is very nice in some parts, like Al-Hasa and Qatif, two of the worlds largest oases.

  • 1 Ne. 2: 6, 8-9 And it came to pass that when he had traveled three days in the wilderness, he pitched his tent in a valley by the side of a RIVER OF WATER. ... it emptied into the Red Sea; ...

The expression "River of Water" is a Semitic expression used to make reference to what we call a modern day wadi..so how could JS have known this...you stupid anti-mormon

  • My favorite quote, "stupid is that stupid does" or in your case that stupid follows.

As for Semitics, the LDS live on that, if is were not for Semitics the LDS would be in big trouble. Better be carefule who you call stupid, the mirror can be very hard on you! The bottom line is the Bible is proven more and more every day, the Book of Mormon? anything yet? No? hmm keep digging, maybe start in New York, that is where Hill Cumorah is right?

  • "The bottom line is the Bible is proven more and more every day"

    HAHAHAHAHAHa...ROFL!!

[wipes tears off his face]..sorry...I thought you said:

"The bottom line is the Bible is proven more and more every day"

    HAHAAHAHAHAHAHa....

You keep believing that...the Bible is the word of God and I DON'T need "signs/evidences/proves" to tell me that... many false christians LIE in all sorts of fields..I have taken more than enough University courses to know better...sorry..you are stupid.

  • Wow you said absolutely nothing there. Again, remember that mirror. I guess Mormons do allot of laughing at the Bible, you are a good example of a good Mormon. Keep setting that example, the rest of you Mormons, learn from you educated leader! Remember he has been to the UNIVERSITY so he must be the smartest Mormon you have. He knows all them there words and stuff.

Sorry but I do not buy it!

  • I don't have to call you stupid. IGNORANT to the RESEARCH of the PHD's of FAIRLDSdotORG & NEPHIPROJECTdotCOM.

both show clearly that the Book of Mormon is authentic, historically accurate and correllates with the mingling of peoples in the Western Hemisphere.

It truly is the stick of Joseph!

  • I didn't learn this from "studying all the evidence"

Evidence is CUTE, but the witness to overcome all criticism is PRAY to GOD and ASK if it be correct and ALL things shall be given according to the scriptures. The LORD answers prayers.

The Book of Mormon is true.

  • Ezekiel 37:15-22 If you read 37 notice its interpretation of the passage. At this time Israel was divided into two groups. Verse 18 states the people will ask for an interpretation of the joined sticks. In verses 19-22 the Lord declares that the northern and southern kingdoms shall be joined into one nation. This section does not have anything to do with a written record. It is a promise from the Lord relating to the restoration of Israel.

  • Another problem with the LDS interpretation is that the Book of Mormon is supposed to be the record of descendants of Manasseh (Alma 10:3). The book never mentions anyone who is a descendent of Ephraim.

  • Ishmael was Ephraim and Lehi was Menasseh.

  • The sticks are WRITTEN on this meant that they were scrolls and they were NOT sceptres as ANTI-Mormons want try and rebuttle. The gathering of the tribes of Israel would ONLY BEGIN to be gathered once the book of Mormon came to light for man to see. It is the instrument in gathering Israel together. This is why Joseph prophesied that Israel would one day be its own state. It's all part of what the LORD said would happen.

  • The word used in Ezekiel 37:16 for stick is the Hebrew word "ets" (Piece of Wood) not the Hebrew word meaning a written record (kathab). "ets" is foung in Numbers 15:32; 1 Kings 17:10; 2 Kings 6:6

Ezekiel understood the various words and meanings relating to a written record. Yet he did not use a word that meant book or record. Instead, he used the word for a piece of wood. He was to write upon the sticks but this was just a short sentence, he was not referring to a written scroll.

  • Amos 9:14-15 there would come a time when the exiles of Israel would again have Israel as their own land and that they would never be uprooted again.

Also in Ezekiel 37, so did JS Prophesy or just copy the real prophets? Read the Bible then the Book of Mormon. Most is just copied from the Bible. It is called Plagiarism, JS just copied the Bible.

  • The bible wasn't copied, but rather the nation of the Book of Mormon were being taught the things simultaneously to them as the people in Jerusalem were being taught by the LORD GOD via revelation. when the branch from the tribe from Joseph left Jerusalem, they didn't have the information given Isaiah, but Isaiah had much important information for the entire children of Israel.

  • the Prophets in Ezekiels day referred to his scrolls as sticks! referring to two records, a record of Judah ie. OUR BIBLE, and the record of Joseph ie. the book of Mormon. both shall be seen by all and in the Lord's hand.

  • The Bible speaks of books and scrolls in many verses, such as: Is. 8:1; 34:4; Jer. 36:2; Ezek. 2:9; 3:1-3; Rev. 6:14. It also speaks of sticks in Num. 17:1-8; 15:32; I Kings 17:12. But God never interchanges these words. The people asked in Ezek. 37:18, "Wilt thou not show us what thou meanest by these?" That question is answered in the next few verses, when the Lord declared the two Kingdoms of Israel would be brought together as one nation with one King again.

  • In fact, the entire chapter is a prophecy of the restoration of Israel to her own land after captivity. For LDS to claim a couple of verses are about the B. of M. in the middle of that message would be out of place. Furthermore, it was Ezekial who wrote on both sticks. Did Ezekial write both the Bible and the B. of M.? If not, the Mormon interpretation does not fit this text.

  • "The Mormon interpretation"

First of all Mormon is still only a nickname! second of all 1 Nephi the family of Lehi and Ishmael that travelled the wilderness were clearly descendants of Joseph thru Menasseh and Ephraim. Their record is the stick of Joseph written and preserved for our day.

    FAIRLDSdotORG

    LDSdotORG

for the truth about the stick of Joseph seen by Ezekiel and to learn HOW to get a witness of the Spirit of God.

  • I do understand that Mormon is a nickname, that is why I try to use LDS when referring to the LDS.

Second, have you read any of what I put out there? If you have you will see it is not clear, in fact it has a lot of controversy behind it all. I know the truth can sting some times, but if you seek it with your brain and logic you will see the truth. Give the Bible the same respect you give the BOM and you will see it clear.

    God Bless!

  • If you use only your knowledge as you say "brain and logic" you don't understand the Holy Bible. You NEED the Holy Ghost to understand the true meaning of the Holy Bible.

We LDS believe in reveletion through the Holy Ghost and God never cease His words. He reveal his truth to all the sincere seekers of the light that is in Jesus Christ.

  • First, no river empties into the Red Sea! When it rains, which is rare, a wadi (a dry riverbed) will carry water for a short time. But a wadi is not a river. Also 1 Nephi 2:5-8, no Hebrew named his child "Sam" (verse 5). "Sam" is an American name, but not a Hebrew name.

  • "But a wadi is not a river"

There you go again being an ignoramus...

Try as you may...you anti-mormons ALWAYS FAIL...in these semetic cultures where we see these they refer to wadis as Dry rivers...which is still a RIVER...so suck it up false christian. In thier mind...it is a "river"

  • Great work on this video...let the minions of Hell rant and rave and gnash thier teeth when presented with more evidence of thier impending doom.

  • One other thing, Joseph Smith lied!

  • MORMONISM:

Amazingly, some how, even more wrong then just plain Christianity!

    :-)

  • Learn to spell before you comment..because it just shows the rest of us that all we deal with are ignorant people like yourself who just rant and rave with no logic behind them to support thier position.

  • Whoa! Calm down, home skillet! First off, there are no misspellings in my previous comment. If you were referring to the space between "some" and "how", It's called a typo, ya dick.

Further more, in the event that I had misspelled every single word, it would not have changed anything about the statement. You sir, in the deluded world in which you live, have no place speaking about logic, you brainless fucking moron, or should I say Mormon.

    Need another helping!?!?!

  • wow..now that is intelligent...lol..yep..why can't we find at least ONE intelligent anti-mormon to debate with?...lol..please

  • What is there to debate?

Look bud, I suggest you try applying the same skepticism you apply to other religions, to Mormonism.

Like many, you are so beyond deluded, that facts and evidence cannot penetrate the wall of make believe you have built.

We could talk about Mormonism all day, and waste a lot of time. You really need to investigate those claims about Mormonism that make you uncomfortable, (((for yourself))).

Truth is not told, rather it is realized.

    Good luck!

  • "We could talk about Mormonism all day, and waste a lot of time. You really need to investigate those claims about Mormonism that make you uncomfortable, (((for yourself)))."

ROFL!!..oh..yes..I should believe an idiot like you instead right?...listen TWIT..I am currently working on an MA in Religious Studies..I am VERY familiar with research and your educatioanl background is?...right...stupid.

  • Did I strike a chord?

"oh..yes..I should believe an idiot like you instead right?.."

Hmm, for a dude working on his MA, you sure could sharpen your reading comprehension skills. Let me reiterate, mormon. I said: investigate..... (((for yourself)))

What college do you study religion? I hope it's not a Brigham Young University. Now that would be funny. :-)

When it comes to my own intelligence... I am the first to admit I am no genius.

  • However, I am smart enough not to be persuaded by Joseph Smith's loony fabrications.

  • This video is utter garbage. It has almost no sources to further check contexts or anything else. Anyone could easily find something that appears to be evidence for their claims, yet they are only stretching their imagination.

  • I love how you comment before even watching the video. Get a hobby!

  • I love how you think people never watch videos even though you've never met them. I love how you're so deluded that you cannot see Mormonism for the fraud that it is. I love how you're so arrogant that you feel you have the ability to judge other people.

As for hobbies, I love doing watercolor paintings and do one every other day, I hike in the mountains everyday, and I go swimming at least once a week.

TrueSaintsLDS. That's so funny because true LDS saints are condescending and idiotic.

  • "true LDS saints are condescending and idiotic."

Really?...how so...all "I" see is false christians or athiests like yourself attack in a condescending manner EVEN when we present a good case for a "FAITH" based organization like any who profess any sort of belief in God have to accept that it is all based on Faith in the end...yet we LDS make as good a case as any other faith for thier beliefs..although it is not required because we have a testimony by the Holy Ghost that it is true.

  • Wonderful video SET!

Way to go and put all these together.

  • well done :)

  • Cool... all evidence of other cultures and people... great, that's awsome.

Mormon is the religion where women get the shit end of the stick right? XD

  • nice work

  • AstoundedAtheist

Well, that makes Nephi the first non-Jew from Jerusalem that practiced Judaism......

"of the non 'native' genetic make up"

What is that supposed to mean? Elaborate please........

  • "As for the Genetic issue, there really isn't any issue at all."

It is, and has been well documented for some time now, that nearly 100% of American Indian's ancestors were from Asia. To deny this is to deny the science of DNA. I'm sorry to say, Mormonism is a hoax.............

  • Um........you forgot to mention the genetic markers that both American Indians and the Jews have in common. Oh, that's right there aren't any.......... Hmmm, I wonder why?

  • Hmm, because the Nephites weren't Jewish? And yes Middle Eastern markers do exist in 20 percent of the non 'native' genetic make up among native americans.

  • Well, that makes Nephi the first non-Jew from Jerusalem that practiced Judaism......

"of the non 'native' genetic make up"

What is that supposed to mean? Elaborate please........

  • Nephi and his family originated from Northern Israel and according to his people in his day, were of the tribe of Ephraim and Menasseh thru the loins of Joseph son of Isaac.

That is why the book of Mormon is called the stick of Joseph seen by Ezekiel 37:15-19

  • mormon religion is a lie and dumb waste of life, ima bout to cure their ass with the "cursed skin". maybe ou shouldn't wear your mormon pantys so tight eh?

  • you Mormon Defenders are the BEST!!

The problem is that too many critics don't believe SCIENCE and EVIDENCE!

    BTW, great music.
