@12JJessica aside from collecting all melons in a course, if you want to aim for the highest possible score you must make sure that you collect all 3 special hearts, sniff out hidden coins, defeat enemies strategic by stomping on them or knocking them out in a row with eggs, and also make sure that you have all yoshi's intact

Two things: Instead of a heart, a melon appears behind Yoshi at the end of the level. Melons dramatically boost up your score; 30 melons give you 3000 points!

You are correct. You get more points if it's all the same type of fruit though. That's why he only gets the melons.

Can I ask you something DJPhilanegro? Can you upload a video of you getting 30 blackberries? You MUST have your lucky fruit as blackberries. Getting 30 blackberries involves using super happy hearts by eating 6 blackberries, or finding them in ? bubbles, and defeating enemies, which will give you more blackberries and basically, while you're super happy you have to try and get as many blackberries as possible by turning every enemy you can see into a blackberry and just getting blackberries.

They work like warps and transfer you to the next guy's number location. Like if you've already waken up all 4 numbers and you're in, say, number 1, you can get to number 4's loaction, but you gotta pass from all the others too. Hope that's right. Haven't played the game since I was 5 or something. The memories... (T____T)

You get a higher score. That's just about it, though lol. Other than the heart during the "Level Clear" scene being replaced with a melon, you just get a higher score.

Anyways, in order to get them in Trial Mode, you just have to play through Story Mode and choose those stages.

Eating all the melons in a stage sports a high score, and most people who have played this game always want to know where they all are. Also, since there's 30 hidden in each stage, (which is the required amount of fruit to complete a stage) it kinda makes sense to grab only melons. So my goal is to find all of them in each stage and post a vid of it.

Plus, it's a cool challenge. :D
