no contention with the other comments...we think this composition is outstanding...a teared eye over here..that's a mark of a good score..if it can stir emotion..humor, sadness, love...if we don't like the score...we often are disappointed in the film...the hauntingly beautiful piece is another player in the film..a must...u r a John Barry in our opinion....we always watch the final credits..we hope to see u at the Oscars!...what does that tell you ? Just an amateur who tries his hand at music when he has some time. I've been thinking about the piano, it seems you want to play the melody on the piano in romantic concerto style. If that's the case, it's just the sound that lacks sustain or something to make the melody more connected.

If you want to hear from others, you could try posting your music on northernsounds (dot com). They have a forum for GPO users with a separate "listening room" and some quite skilled members.

You've got a good ear for melody and drama in the score. It's really very effective and pleasant to hear. I guess you'd like to write for the screen, and that these are your demos, but I've got some issues.

In this video, you should really fix the piano melody. It sounds harsh and dull (GPO's not good for this), lacks a natural decay and is irregular and erratic at points, as if your timing is way off. The other instruments are spot on, as are the piano arpeggios.

Thanks for your comments. Appreciate the feedback and your point regarding the piano melody is well taken. Might revisit this piece at some future point and make appropriate ammendments. You seem quite informed. Are you a composer yourself?
