The tender started out as a Bachmann, but I heavily modified it to resemble the prototype tenders that the BRC 2-10-2s ran with.

What turnouts do you recommend for DCC with sound. Our locos stall at most of the switches. What do think?

I only have knowledge of Peco code 75. The turnout NCE accessory decoders incorporate a switch, which I use to change the polarity of the turnout frog. It works well in conjunction with electrical pickups on all loco wheels.
