PRO TIP: Know who goes before you and move RIGHT AFTER they do to make an almost always successful surprise strike. Usually people are too occupied with processing what the previous ninja did to expect your strike immediately after the previous person did his.

The way I play I actually dodge roll and crap. Like ninjas do, but minus the ninjatos and shurikens.

Also, you can play "two-hand" ninja or just original "one-hand" ninja. The difference being that in two hand ninja you have two lives (each hand) and once one is hit it is no longer usable and goes to being behind your back. With one-hand ninja you have one life and if either hand is hit you're out. I would only encourage dodge rolls and the like in open areas.

@FrostedPingu It usually goes in a circle. The person who says 'ninjas unite!' chooses the person who starts. At least, that's how I play it. You can attack when it's your turn, and the only other time you can move is when you're being attacked.
