They obviously didn't, or they wouldn't have put that in. The thing with Veggie Tales is that they have strayed sooo far away from their religious values and beginnings. Look at how the first episodes were solidly based on the Bible and were theologically7 accurate. Now, they have added so much silliness and a bit of worldly philosophy (e.g., Dr. Jiggle & Mr. Sly). There is a remarkable difference between "Dave and the Giant Pickle" and "Jonah." That difference is the accuracy of the story.

God is not the Big Man, Man uptairs, etc that many people refer to Him as. He is not a man, and I am very surprised that Phil Vischer, the author of Veggie-tales, did not realize this. In my opinion, he needs to reevaluate if he is too willing to compromise his beliefs in order to make a mainstream film.
