  • george used his rickenbacker 360/12 for this, right?

  • Class.

  • THIS IS AWESOME!!! Whoever disliked this has issues having to do with their brain.

  • I LOVE this riff! It makes me so happy. Great song. Has anybody else noticed that a lot of early Beatles songs had awesome names? What You're Doing, Eight Days A Week, You Can't Do That, Don't Bother Me, You Like Me Too Much, etc.

P.S. Are they adorable or what at 2:28? :)

  • ahh!!!! i can't get over how much i freakin love the beatles!!! <3

  • I just got this song stuck in my head yesterday errrrr!

  • Paul is dead. If you cant see that then you are ignorant and only listen to what your told by the mainstream. Good bye idiots.

  • @BigCroak419 He's not dead -_- why dont u listen to justin bieber or something -_-

  • @BigCroak419

He's still alive. Go back under your bridge, troll.

  • Paul isn't dead -_- I'm so sick of that bs It would have leaked if he was and as for the other members so called "admitting it" They were all pissed at each other for a long time I would have been like yeah he died to, to piss him off after the way they ALL acted on let it be. and you can look pics up of the man that replaced him and guess what hes old and looks NOTHING like paul now and barley did back then. THANK YOU!

  • your an asswipe

  • look at the picture on 1:04. That is Pauls replacement Faul. Compare what youre doing with the White album and Abbey road and you can clearly hear the difference. The real Paul died and was replaced by this creepy man who cant sing. I hate Fauls guts. RIP Paul, You had one of the best voices ever. Faul die soon please.

  • @childintime12 i totally agree.

  • @childintime12 You're kidding right? lol

  • @childintime12 How can Paul not sing in The White Album or Abbey Road? Have you heard "Blackbird" or "Oh Darling"? I find it hilarious how people believe in a story made up by a high school magazine.

  • @Cwall96 Its not made up it is fact. I will admit there are good songs by FAUL on those albums but Oh Darling he screams like an idiot. Listen to do it in the road, helter skelter, golden slumbers, among others like ive got a feeling. These are not sung well. FAUL has a bad voice and you are just too stupid to believe in the truth and you need to be told whats right by the mainstream media. The mainstream still accepts thats there are GODS but really they are just aliens. The mainstream fooled u

  • @BigCroak419 I believe the song titles are "Oh! Darling", "Why Don't We Do It In The Road?" and "I've Got A Feeling", not the incorrect titles you said.

  • I love the guitar riff in this whole song well I love how they put this song together in a whole. It is great.

  • @mleaurora0150 Truly spectacular tune, and to think Paul said they wrote it pretty much as FILLER for Rubber Soul. Oh wow, REALLY? =) Truly, The Beatles are the ALbert Einsteins and Thomas Edisons of the music world! ha

  • What you're doing? You're making some of the greatest (pop) music this world has ever known! That's what you're clearly doing!

  • Even animals like John Lennon!

  • best part was 0:00

  • The worst part was 2:31 when it ended

  • That's what beatles' songs would say to the bands that cover them.

  • Amazingly weird low-end piano...

  • @CultureJudge Could it be two players on one piano? That makes you feel like something is going on that you can't quite figure?

  • DID ANYBODY WATCH LONG ENOUGH TO SEE PETER GRIFFIN AT THE END!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @xsbsp Is this a question?

  • @fodgd no its a dead camel. of course its a fucking question. im not mad. im just a sailor.

  • @xsbsp sorry, but you don't put "?" at the end, you put "!"... But it's okay, and yes, i saw peter griffin at the end.

  • @fodgd ooooooooooooh. hehe. i was gonna put sum "?"s, but i 4got. haha.

  • I love this song

  • why do some people always criticize beatles that they only do great songs because they are using cocaine? if that is so why other artists who are using cocaine can't make such good songs as this? think of it morons.

  • I love that drum beat so much...

  • 1:04 Paul Mccartney never snorted cocaine, but microphones one the other hand...

  • @joecolp09 Macca has definitely snorted cocaine.

  • :15 adorable!

  • Caption for 0:51: No matter how you add it up, I'm awesome.

  • This is probably my favorite song from Beatles For Sale!

  • 2:17 Let It Bii Lol xD

  • listen to cover of this song by Fantastic Dee-Jays, a garage band from mid-sixties

realy blows this out of the water

  • one of my favorite beatles songs

  • MY SONG!!!

  • GREAT MIX ..THANKS!

  • such a great song

  • the beatles never made a bad song what more can you say brilliant

  • 4 dislikers,WHAT YOU'RE DOING?

  • what is peter griffin doing at the end? XD... great song!!!

  • 1:17 What you´re doing John?

  • Why is there family guy at the end of the video?..... -____-

  • 4 people didn't know what they were doin'.

  • The song "What You're Doing," like many of The Beatles songs, has hidden messages and meanings in it. Search "truth contest" in Google and click on the 1st result. Then, open The Present and read the section titled The Beatles, and you will see what I mean.

  • groovy beatles

  • Very underrated song.

  • In the USA this was on "Beatles VI". Capitol Records managed to extort millions of extra dollars by reinventing the UK catalog. BitTorrent eventually took care of that. Eat it raw, you evil knob-gobblers.

  • Paul does a John Lennon charged up lead vocal. George playing lead guitar under the vocals is cool as it can be.

  • *generic beatles are beast comment*, but we already know that!

  • The beginning & guitar throughout reminds me of the Byrds!

Maybe george was a beetle & a bird!?!?

  • @BEATLES4U4NOW4EVER I was about to comment that too, it reminds me of The Byrds too!

  • @TheWorldinProgress 12 string electric guitar by george. roger mcguin of the byrds said he saw george play one in a hard days night and couldn't rest till he had one.

  • @jr55ful

and on the same day athey also got a gretsch tennesean for their rythm player and mudwig drums for their drummer.

that actually was the first time ever the byrds got electric insturments.

  • @BEATLES4U4NOW4EVER

that is, because the byrds created themselfes after the beatles, after mcquinn saw the hard days night movie he and the band decided to go electric, so they bought a 12 string rickenbacker, a gretsch counry gentleman and a ludwig drum kit to get the beatles sound.

this here was recorded a year or more before the byrds first single.

  • Das ist die beste lied in die welt!

  • Of all the Beatles songs this one touch my very soul

  • only "slightly" obsessed with the best band in the world. but you cant blame me, just look at them, just listen to them!!! theyre to die forr!!! beatles forever :D <3

  • What album is this song on?

  • @devdief614 Beatles For sale

  • @ryanstevens11 Alright, I'm defintly getting that album then! Thanks. =]

  • 0:13 SO CUTE !!!!!!

  • Why the fuck there's a Peter at the end?

  • 4 people dont know what theyre doing!

  • I hate that people say the Beatles only good songs were their later songs like Let it be and whatnot, I find their earlier stuff like this is much better!

  • @mlg0phear0itzelf These are 2 minute masterpieces that will never be duplicated in our lives our children's lives or their children's lives! This is when their creativity was at it's peak in my opinion.

  • 4 people get a one-way ticket to the crab nebula.

  • I've been a fan of beatles for years and still I discover great songs every time I'm on youtube!!! Beatles FOREVER!!!

  • I just love the drums in this song.

  • 0:48= the albert einstein of music

  • OK this song is just ADDICTIVE!

  • What you doing to me ---------making me feel good-every time.

  • ↑ el video que puse en respuestas en video esta subtitulado por si quieren

  • Favorite beatles tune...

  • PAUL ♥

  • I FUCKING LOVE THE BEATLES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • 0:36 .... George is just TOO cute for words!

  • Don't think Paul double-tracked his vocals very often, certainly not as often as John would.

    This is nice to hear.

I'm kind of sorry that technology came up with automatic duplexing or chorusing of vocals, because they old way, in which they really had to record it twice, came up with a nicer sound.

But then I'm a dinosaur, still playing vinyl LPs on a turntable, loving the snap, crackle, pop when the needle first hits the record.

  • PURE music for those of us living in the age of recorded moose drool.

  • Outstanding song

  • Love them minor chords-just perfection. It's why George Harrison got the job - he knew more chords than John and Paul.

  • Excellent song...and thank you George Harrison- for the marvelous guitar ..wonderful. How I miss the days of the Beatles...incredible talent.

  • It's obviously The Fab Four, you can't go wrong with this one.

  • This, I'm looking through you, You won't see me and For No One are all said to be about Paul's relationship with Jane Asher.

  • great song

  • The DRUMS in this give my goosebumps goosebumps. LOVE it.

  • It's The Beatles!!

  • @Joeo78501, did Jackie DeShanon really teach George? I don't doubt you but, I have never read or heard that before.

  • great song

  • I just love that drum in the beginning. :)

    Beatles ftw!

  • Great number, some of the "love songs" in their early period were kinda stereotype, but this is not that case, nice music, great singer... it´s pity that they split, but they are a legend anyway.

  • any fool who says the beatles only have a few good songs must've only heard a few of their songs.

  • @chimpbottle that doesnt make sense

  • @chimpbottle

lmao... i know thats just stupid i myself have over 175 songs from them and keep coming across some more every time... the closes i got to the beatles in songs on my ipod is led zeppelin with about 35. anyone who says that its just a fool who does not even know what its saying...

  • wow pauls voice is so smooth in this song its a pure masterpeice to sound lik that

  • what album is this on?

  • @panterarocks8765

  • my favorite song of the beatles love them to hell

  • @RedPopIceCream Uhm ... *to heaven

  • its so sad that i didn't live in 60's

  • @tuippe4 I still live there.

  • @tuippe4 me too! =[=[

  • Ha, Peter Griffin. Random but hilarious!

  • They got that Byrd's 12 -string sound on this one. Clearly the Beatles got tired of the "jangling" sound by late 1965 and you don't hear it after that.

  • This is Great!!! TY....Peace

  • @peacemanken & @ROVINATO This pre Byrds sound was taught to George by Jackie DeShanon in her song When You Walk Into a Room, using the Rickenbaucher guitar.

  • How lucky to have been young during those times.

  • God bless The Beatles.

  • AMAZING

    enough said

  • favorite part from 1:00 to 1:06 :)

  • @Live4Beatles Sorry to tell you, but John passed away about 30 years ago, If i am not wrong.

  • @Changychangu thats why I feel bad that I know for a fact that I will never know him...at least not in this lifetime.

  • @Live4Beatles Oh, sorry. I thought you didnt't know John had died because you used the word "probably", making me think that the reason that you thought you'd never meet him was that he's too busy being a musician. Lol, my bad. misunderstanding.

  • i wish i could know john as well, its just too bad hes dead, the thought hurts more and more everyday. same as with george

  • @AdamLambertsVoice Yeah i know...me too. :'(

  • George is SO cute at 1:15!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I can't decide who is the best person on earth. It's either George, or Paul. Which one should I choose?!!!!!!

  • ALL OF THEM! :D They're brilliant!

  • George XD

  • George!! <3 He's adorable but come on they all are :)

  • @Phlurpit you won't need it, just TURN OFF YOUR MIND, RELAX AND FLOAT DOWN STREAM, LAY DOWN ALL THOUGHTS, SURRENDER TO THE VOID. At the end you'r going to see the top of the mountain.

  • wow beautiful song paul sings this so good and smooth
