  • jeme bien écris nicolas chomel!

  • these were the days when nintendo rocked.... the n64 was the best console ever.... shame nintendo just sucks now!!!!

  • when ever i see this scene, for some reason i think of the classic Thunderbirds series

  • BREAKDOWN!

  • I like how goemon looks as if he was sucked up the ship while he was sliding on his stomach again xD

  • This sequence was cut in my version of the game. -.-

Because I got the PAL version.

  • DA DA DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAASH

  • Any chance of getting the subtitles on screen like in your other videos?

  • @Pander8874 It could be done if i could just get my hands back on the translation which must be either somewhere among all the coments on this video, or in my message box here on Youtube. I'll think about it (i just migrated all my files to my new laptop, so it's a bit of a mess right now :P)

  • @Kafei2006 cool, that would be great - thanks. The translation appears to be in the Highest Rated Comments box

  • @Pander8874 Okidokie thanks for pointing that to me. Just know though that i might not do that right away, as i am a bit busy :P. It takes time to make a .srt file to upload on Youtube and get the timing right for the subtitles to be displayed at the right time in the video. But i'll surely do it eventually. I'll see what i can do in the coming days.

  • poor Omisu..she passed out

hey, at least Miss Impact doesn't have Oppai Missiles

  • Well, Konami did have a bad habit of reducing expences by making games smaller on some releases, but they should remember that the better game is -more it sells!

  • @M1XART Like how on this game they also removed the save feature from the cartridge to force you to use a controller pak. The japanese version had the save inside the game, the european didn't. I don't know about the US version but i'll bet it's the same as the European

  • I frigging need this game!!!!

  • Oh my God, This Video Marvelus like the chapter one but the Pal version is CUT ? SHIT PAL VERSION :-(

  • It is a goddamn crime we didn't get these in the English version.

  • @Oriandu Just the same way we didn't get the dubbed dialogues in the opening and ending of the first N64 game.

  • DASH DASH DASH! GO GO DOUBLE IMPACT!

  • And I always wondered why the robot sequence in that game was so lame. The answer is right here, they cut out the transformation scene.

    Screwed by localization. Fail.

  • Who is the little red cat and why isn't he in the US version?

  • Comment removed

  • @wblstudios

    That's Kurobei!

  • my game has that scene and is an american version, wonder what version you guys got, oh yeah you can skip scenes so pressing buttons take care of cutscenes

"this is my latest design, Impact Mk2, but i called it Robo Omitsu "

    -omitsu faints-

    "something i said?"

  • It's strange. I've got both the US and JP carts. And I've only seen this scene on the JP version.

  • Anyone know what Wiseman is saying?

  • duh ima retard i didnt read the discription X3

  • maybe i got a weird version....but i never got this cut scean when i got into Impact and Miss Impact during my version of the game.

i assume it was cut from the american version =\

  • yeah, i remember playing the english version, and suddenly I find myself in a robot... with impact in the background. i was like. "wtf? if Impact is over there, where am i?

  • They even cut out the Omitsu fainting bit! Argh!

Thanks for this as I was wondering what the sequence looked like!

  • and of course, neither of them think or bother to help her up off the ground.

  • if konami released a new goemon game in america i would buy the system just to play it.

  • why was this cut out? i own the usa n64 version, so i didnt get to see this.

  • mystical ninja deserves a new title for either the wii, xbox360 or a nextgen platform.

  • No kidding. Would be nice if Konami cared about more of its classic franchises than Metal Gear and Dance Dance Revolution.

  • DDR Lately has been falling into the depths of hell.

Max, Max2, and Extreme (though Extreme is pushing it) were the only good games under DDR.

    Makes me mad.

  • Indeed. Screw those titles, I want more Goemon and Twinbee!

  • why couldn't the full version sound like this? I like the punchy, almost angry sound to it.

  • 1:18

lol at old mans right arm

  • why this isn't in the north american version??

  • Konami never said why not.

  • Why?

  • maybe it has something to do with Goemon being sucked up in Miss Impact's rearend?

  • Maybe... They should put a Impact summon like Mystical ninja starring goemon...

  • Miss Impact's rear end open up and Goemon gets sucked in, then he flies up her colon into the pilot's seat.

I do wonder though, after all these times Goemon does that long fall into the pilot's seat that he's never been hurt by the fall.

  • hahaha, that's true...

  • I fail to see why this wasn't kept in. They kept Impact's theme in Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon.

  • Because America wasn't thinking

  • We never are -__-

  • How many goemon games are out there

  • Comment removed

  • Miss impact suffers from Minnie Mouse syndrome :(

whats minnie mouse syndrome? remove their hair needle and her face is identical to Impact, just like removing minnie mouse's bow and eyelashes and she looks exactly like mickey mouse.

  • lol

  • dang! they took out this from Goemon's Great Adventure, also the intro >=(

  • same game series dude :/

  • No shit, eh? He's saying this was taken out of the North American (and likely PAL) release of the game. Infuriating!

  • Ignorant Japs, are we not worthy of a translation, is our money not good enough

  • that's cute, Impact has a girlfriend his own size

  • Does anyone know of a site where I can translate sentences from Romaji to English?

  • Babelfish

  • i like how he says Break Down. :] niiice

  • LOL Omitsu fainted in the end.

  • Song Translation: (Dash-Dash-Daash!) Warm feelings held within Right now!(Yea!) Launch!(Wow!) Double Impact The Baton Pass that switches between them Come, this partnership bursts into flames (Lets go!) Break-DOWN! Crush those bad guys! Max power will beat them for sure! For sure! Hundred-Direction Punch! I am(ore = tough guy talk for "I") I am(atai = ditzy tokyo teenage girl talk for "I") Yes, Impact (Dash-Dash-Daash!)
  • @8bitgrafix

Do you have the translation of the FULL theme from impact, from the first game? Would be aweome if you would =D.

  • when i was 8 or 9 i thought that was ebisumaru's impact, now i don't know!

  • Never saw this before. =O

  • was this one japan only?

  • No, it was released worldwide under the name "Goemon Great Adventure" in North America and "Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon 2" in PAL territories.

  • How come we only got like two of them.

  • there were only 2 released on the N64 anyway. the only goemon games we got outside japan were the 1st one on super famicom (there were a grand total of 4 on it + a spin off starring ebisumaru) and those two on N64. There have also been plenty on the famicom, playstation, PS2, DS, GBA, etc ...We missed most of 'em because western audience wouldn't get the japanese culture references and miss most of the humour behind the game.Shame on Konami as well as on the western gamers cuz it's kind of true.

  • Hey was impacs theme use in the sequal of mystical ninja

  • If you want to be technical, the US also got a Super Game Boy Goemon, also titled "Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon" ("Ganbare Goemon: Kurofune Tou no Nazo") in 1997. Europe received a different, earlier Goemon title ("Ganbare Goemon: Sarawareta Ebisumaru!", 1991) as part of the Konami GB Collection Vol.3, released on the GBC in 2000. This, too, was called "Mystical Ninja Starring Goemon."

There was a third Goemon game on the N64 (Goemon Mononoke Sugoroku). This was a board game, however.

  • i didn't know for the super game boy one, but new the rest. I meant the legit Goemon games on the N64 when mentionning only two, since the other one is more of a Mario party like game.

  • (Dash-Dash-Daash!) Atsui no moiyo munenihime Imada! (yea!) Hasshin!(wo!) Daburu inpawato Futari o tsunagu batosopasu (hey!) Saa moeagare yo yuujouno enajii (Ikuzee!) Break-DOWN! Waruiyatsura o buchiko wa se Hissatsu hissatsu genkai pawaa da Hyakurestu Panchi Ore wa (Ore wa) Atai wa (Atai wa) Hai Inpakuto (Dash-Dash-Daash!) Jiisan: Douja. Washi no shin saku wa. Omi-chan sokkurini tsukutta misu inpakuto ja! Kurobee: Omitsu-san. Shikkarishite kudasai
  • Lmao, the Duke Freed reference with the spinning chair; I almost died. XD

  • Its funny how Miss Impact fights with a plate of Dango :P

  • I'm still pissed that they cut this from the English version, it's such a cool scene! I didn't have a clue what was going on when I suddenly found that after rescuing Impact, I was teamed up with Miss Impact.

Plus another verse to learn. Yay!

  • Awesome Game, man I miss Goeman, Its about time he had a Wii outing.

  • There was a DS game, but it never got translated. :\

  • Such a shame eh? Some of my fondest gaming memories are related to goeman games, he needs a wii outing!

  • goe mon is the best

  • This isn't in the English version? But this is a crucial scene! The introduction of Miss Impact!

  • SRSLY! Why did they remove such things from the english version? This crazy humor is what made the first one so special, too.

  • Maybe it had something to do with licensing. I hear the Pokemon anime has to change a lot of it's music in the dubbed version because of such matters.

  • A rough translation: Da-da-dash! An emotional princess, full of hot feelings. It's time! Launch! Double Impact! Show us your connection to eachother - Battlepass! (Hey!) Now, with the burning energy of friendship! (Let's go!) Break down! Beat up those bad guys! It's sure to kill, it has to kill - Power to the limit! Hundred-Blow Punch! I am, I am <3, Impact! Wiseman: This is my newest creation. Miss Impact is the spitting image of you, Omitsu. Kerobi: Omitsu! Please pull yourself together!
  • Thank you so much for the translation. May i ask you the authorization to make it appear in the video description ? (i'll give you credit for that, don't worry) and could you possibly do the same for my other video (the dero dero douchuu "SMILE AGAIN" intro) ? I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for the help.

  • Sure, if you'd like...I just tried going over Smile Again - it's certainly rougher than this was, but I got through it with what (I hope!) they meant to get across...since the karaoke lyrics they provide don't use any kanji, I had to make some creative choices between what meaning they wanted, in some parts >_>

  • OK don't worry about it, i'll inform that it's a rough translation. It's far better then nothin' anyway ^^.

  • i play this game and they did this action. and if i recall they did the other one as well.

  • Is there one for the normal Impact? There probably is I just can't find it.

  • There's none for the normal impact in goemon 2, because this one is about both Impact Robots. Hence the title : "Double Impact"

  • Really? I swear I saw a picture of a jet that looked like Goemon Impact.

  • Maybe it was from the first goemon game for the N64 then.

  • Nope I just found where I saw it. Its in the intro for this game.

  • Ok. t'was not a cutscene dedicated to Impact then.

  • Ok. t'was not a cutscene dedicated to Impact then.

  • wat gam is tis

  • It's known as Goemon's Great Adventure in North America and Mytical Ninja Starring Goemon 2 in Europe and other PAL territories.

  • BREAK DOWN! its weird ive beten this game but never saw the impct intro

  • read the video description. (i'm tired of repeating this)

  • oh lol

  • didn't mean to seem rude ^^. But nobody seems to read 'em and go on asking questions about the videos (you didn't ask for anything, i know, i was just advising ^^) for which they could find the answer in the description XD.

  • loli know how u feel

  • What the? I never saw that scene in the game.

  • read the video description.

  • I still haven't actually reached this point in the game and I sort of feel like I spoiled it for myself. Nevertheless I will now acquire this song somehow and listen to it many many times.

  • it's at the beginning of the game, after the burning oedo castle. are you sure ? note that this scene was removed from US and PAL versions of the game. if you are playing one of those versions, you'll neva see this scene.

  • haha why did omitsu pass out? maybe that's when the old man tells her Ms.Impact was made after her

  • yes i think so too ^^

  • That's exactly what happened. Wise Man's dialogue is something along the lines of "What do you think of my new invention? I modeled it after Omitsu!"

  • where r the engish verison

  • next to the engrish

  • but where

  • the subtitles

  • There is none not even with English subtitles. This entire sequence was removed from the US version. Funny how the US kept the original Impact sequence from Mystical Ninja 1.

  • I heard the removal was due to Konami saving money.

Apparently the English font used up more data than the Japanese characters. Also translation would make the ROM size bigger than the Japanese version (some translations do have that happening)

Konami wasn't going to let that happen, so to save ROM space they did some snipping.

I don't think there'd be much of a problem if this was disc though. Most excess data becomes padding and GCN/Wii have better compression tools.

  • awesome but i like more the fisrt impact song

  • I sent you romaji lyrics to this song and the scene after it on GI.

  • geez theres a miss impact dang ive only playd the first i think it looks better personally anyway cool vid

  • My hero!

  • In fact i've had it on my computer for months but i didn't know it :P. I had the rom of the game but i never played it further than the burning edo castle in japanese version since i can't understand what's being said. so i had never seen this part and never heard about it either.
