You can clearly see and hear that this is the album version and Shane MacGowan is miming. But I don't believe that they wanted to mime to this. They had to do it on Top of the Pops as well and as far as I know MacGowan hated miming. So he made a joke out of it by miming really obvious and bad and looking like he desperately wanted to leave the place. I think it's funny! And I don't like miming as well because it's fake...Up the Pogues!
