then you can splice off the micro switch from the computer to a normal arcade push button! then they is no need for house wall switches!

hey mate, if you use a SOLID STATE RELAY. that can handle up to 40amps. you can use a 12volt trigger from your computer, to turn on the 110Volt or 240Volt power strip to light up the top light and the acreen, so in turn it would be kind of like a normal computer that boots the screen when the computer in turned on!

then your only power swith will be the one on the computer itself.

I'm interested to know how you drill or construct the new plexiglass. I eventually managed to remove the one off my CP (torx screws were a pain). I've been looking for quotes on new plexiglass and they're about £40 (or $65) which is too much IMO. The cost is in drilling 16 holes, while the plexiglass piece is reasonable. So, looking forward to seeing how that's done so I don't need to make any trial and error mistakes on the drilling.

I will post a video soon. The only tools you need are a drill press, some clamps, and a couple drill bits.

Thanks, It's the drill bit I really need to see. I've read some topics about the drilling and know it doesn't go well without care and the right tools. If I can see the drill bit used and technique, I should be ok. I may already have the correct bit type, from the description provided by MrAnimeGuru (Thanks). It's a lot less frustrating and wasteful if I can nail the job first go.

Happy Christmas Mike, Could you show me the switch on top of the MK2 cab? There isn't a switch on mine - I'm just interested to know where this switch is. My cabinet is another version of the MK2 cab - it doesn't have the projecting red 'Midway' decals on the sides of the control panel. The cabinet sides are completely flat.

Is it a dynamo cab? How do you turn you machine on if there is no switch?

The switch is on the back of the cab. If you were looking at the back door it would be positioned on the bottom right immediately beneath the removabale door. It's an original MK2 cab alright, but I haven't seen any like it before, for sale on Ebay or anywhere. As mentioned, it doesn't have the CP projections on the cabinet sides.
