turnitin is a good idea to be honest... If I work hard on my research paper to get an A, I wouldn't want someone to be able to copy someone elses work in 15 minutes and get the same grade that took me several hours to complete.... Just do your own work, you benefit from the learning experience anyways.

I really don't mind it all that much. I just don't like how my teachers don't trust their students. It sucks because sometimes you get hard topics that require you to do research on it and you migh forget to quote this and you get dinged, it is hard to write something in your own words when the topic at hand is hard. All in all, I guess it's okay. I wonder what would happen if I copyed my own work.. :)
