  • Hi Gourvelos!

At RCGroups were are debating your solution at the moment, and I have a couple of questions re. the 4g6 canopy mod; 1. Did you cut any material away or did you fold the material inwards only? 2. Did you measure airflow on left and right side of the canopy as well; is there a difference? 3: Did the mod cause a net increase/decrease in the weight of the canopy? Thanks, Sandor

  • I drilled about 8 holes for the motor, and 8 holes for the esc into the window, little holes so you dont really see them. Also drilled out the 2 holes in the canopy that looks like air inlets near the front bottom

  • Good idea, but the airflow would be greater without the 1mm carbon rod on the outside as this will be disrupting the airflow going into the canopy. Rod on inside would be much better.

  • good job. after watching this video i did the same openin by the winshield very good idea. and it helps to keep th motor a bit coller.

  • My first thought was: How can a guy talk about a hole in a canopy for 7 minutes ? But after 7 mins watching your video i realized you did it very well.

  • Lol I had to do the slot for my Blade CP in the from also. Like a ram air system!! Comes in through the front and disperses on either side of the motor
