An argument can be made that one of the main reasons Bush came to USC was because of the 'perks' he was offered.

this game was ok but the 2007 fiesta bowl was the greatest game the world has ever seen the entire game (I was there) everyone was in awe. The Hook and ladder the statue of liberty play all helped boise st tremendously take oklahoma. David vs Goliath. Best game in the world

when was the last time USC actually beat a good team huh? They got lucky in this game, its the only time they've played ND when ND is actually healthy since Weis took over. actually USC is tied with Notre Dame for most Heismans with 7, Notre Dame has more National Championships, in fact Alabama is second and USC is third on that list. As far as your rebuttal to Bush beating Young that year for the Heisman you talked about where they are currently in the NFL, which matters not when it comes to the Heisman, 05 RB won it but was not really the reason USC made the title game, their whole team was made up of great players, whereas Texas without Young doesn't get there.

USC has 2 contested titles under Howard Jones. They claim the title because "The Dickensen System" rated them #1. Notre Dame was considered #1 using this system in the 1930's, but The Irish don't count it as a national title. ND has more titles.

I am a ND fan and much as i didn't like the last plays of the game and really wanted ND to win obviously, this was such a great game, except for the last few plays. I was at the game and the stadium atmosphere was incredible until the end. As a ND fan I still believe we got robbed, but this was a great game.
