Vio-lence...great band. Saw 'em live twice in the late 80's at the Bayou and the 9:30 club in D.C. One of my all-time faves!

Have always loved this song for its heaviness and relevant lyrics. Members of my family have gone down in the exact way this song depicts. Be warned...alcohol is great in moderation, but it's an absolute demon once you become its slave.

These dudes and Testament are the ultimate in Thrash. Killer lyrics and crushing tone is what makes these guys a brutal band.

In my opinion the reason Vio-lence is so good is because it leans heavily on the hardcore over the metal  influence in Thrash. Any responses? Oh and the lyrics are realistic rather then borrowed from Lord Of The Rings etc...

@Eyec0n I say Metallica started to suck as soon as they ran out of material from Dave to rip off of after they kicked him out of the band. RTL was dave's work, and MOP was nowhere near as good, but Metallica is nowhere near the best of the genre anyways.
