fucking facepalm. on top of boasting about how much u pay for a cat u agree to let youtube put advertisements on ur video, thus giving u more money. got some bad karma coming ur way.
@MrKalashnik0va I have an EVEN better idea, donate that 22K to an animal rescue group! $22k to give ONE cat a home - when think of how many homeless animals might be saved and find a furever home. Let not think about all the possible processes involved to breed such fancy cats.
I googled Ashera Cat and the wiki entry says that they are in fact Savannah cats, an existing breed. States that the folks a Lifestyle bought the cats from a breeder down south and resold them as a new breed...for up to 4 times the price they paid the breeder.
Questions have been raised as to their authenticity,[4] after a Pennsylvania cat breeder told the San Diego Union-Tribune that several cats sold by Allerca and labeled "Ashera" were actually raised by him as another hybrid, "Savannah F1."[4][5] These cats can weigh up to 40 lbs (according to Lifestyle Pets) and cost US$22,000 which meant the Savannah cats bred by Shirk were each resold as Asheras for around 4 times their original price. .
It's a beautiful cake & it's nice you rescue cat but some people like the idea having a rare cat & that can live up to 25 years.. Most cars die by the age of what 15? I'd buy the cat, it's beautiful.
@ManthaBaby143 True, the people like the idea, but unfortunately for them they fell pray to a scam: there is no such breed as Ashera, it's a scam. The cat in the video is a Savannah cat, most like an F2 Savannah which normally costs $2500-5000 - for a pedigreed cat with papers, but LifestylePets doesn't provide any papers, it doesn't even cost that much. As to 25 years - if the cat dies at 15, I seriously doubt they are going to get their money back.
Why da fuck would someone pay this much for a cat? I have 3 dogs and we rescued them from a shelter 5 minutes before they were about to be put down. Then our other 2 that we have we found, they were left by their owners because they got "bored" of them. If you actually pay 22grand for this animal, imagine the number of ones you can save from an animal shelter. Think about that before you go off buying an expansive ass pet.
I understand people talking about the price and such, however, this cat can live up to 25 years! I would definitely pay more to have my best friend live longer!
@gratsoy 25 years is an UNPROVEN CLAIM by a scam artist with a criminal record. This is an F2 Savannah cat sold for several times the real price, and as far as I know no Savannah breeder claims that it lives any longer than any cat. Google "Ashera cat scam" or better "Murky background of Ashera and Alleerca".
Some say an Ashera is a cross between a serval and an ALC (asian leapard cat) but its not, just hybrids of these, this one i think is an f1 savannah cross with an f4 (bengal cat)
@94grapevine94 Ashera is simply a scam. By the TICA (The International Cat Association) definition any hybrid of Serval and domestic is a Savannah, domestic's being a Bengal doesn't make a difference. BTW - LifestylePets didn't provide any pedigree and "Asheras" confiscated at the airport in Holland and DNA-tested turned out to be Serval-Egyptian Mau hybrids.
@jewelmarkess Thanks for information! and i know that story in holland, ( im from holland haha) We can only buy these cats (savannah for example) if they been breed in europe. Otherwise its illegal, or you must have some papers. . but the savannah cat today is awsome, but when i see this cat cross with the bengal, or egyptian mau. . its much more beautifuller !
@94grapevine94 Just to clarify. This cat is an F2 Savannah, there is no such thing as Ashera, it's a scam. Many if not most Savannah breeders use Egyptian Maus because they also have spots and because their gestation period is slightly longer than that of other domestic breeds so there is less chance of premature kittens. The "Asheras" confiscated in Holland airport were Savannah cats bought from a Savannah breeder and resold as "Asheras" for 5-6 times the price.
@94grapevine94 Google "Ashera cat scam" and "Murky background of Ashera and Allerca" - especially the second link has more information about the guy who sells Asheras. He has a criminal record and a history of similar scams.
@BuiltFitness Maybe you should learn to count? 1/2+1/2+1/2 doesn't equal one. Also, learning the difference between the Asian Leopard Cat and an Asian leopard would be helpful. This is a cat for fools by the way who don't do their research and thus don't know that Ashera=Savannah cat with a much higher price tag.
@schillingscott4 mk..why not buy a serval and a asian leopard for about 12000 maybe lower if lucky..and have them breed a free mix of that cat then? the price is wrong on there..well this was 2009..so idk..
@AlmightyEddie123 Because this is a scam, Ashera is a Savannah cat. BTW - when they say Asian Leopard, they really mean Asian Leopard Cat - a huge difference. Early generation Savannah cats are expensive too though cheaper than this one, but it's because they are difficult to breed: there is a difference in gestation period and kittens are often born premature and need to be bottle fed around the clock; the litters are very small - 1-2 kittens, kitten mortality is high.
If you're treating your pet as an accessory - you don't deserve it. My cats are priceless. And it is far better to save a street kitty's life, then to spend thousands of dollars buying an animal. It's humiliating for you and for the being.
@diliprai The person, Simon Brodie, already has a criminal record, but I think he changed the name since this scam to Simon Carradan and now sells skis for $18,000.
@TheAngryNarcissist Yes. Asian Leopard Cat crossed with a domestic creates the Bengal cat. Serval crossed with a domestic cat creates a Savannah cat. Since Bengal cats are domestic cats, a cross between a Bengal and a Serval is a Savannah cat with some Asian Leopard Cat blood. Hence the only difference between an Ashera and a Savannah is the price.
20,000 dollars for a car that lives 20 years. Thats a 1000 dollars for every year you have it. You could get a much cooler exotic for cheaper than that amount. Especially one thats just not an over-sized version of a regular house cat.
@jewelmarkess You've simply babbled about irrelevancy and dodged the simple question I asked. You couldn't stick to your simple commitment, which isn't really very compelling, but instead felt like you needed to go on about charity and "Cuba". Why? Do you not believe yourself?
@iwpoe 1.I don't think anybody has to justify how they spend their money whether it's frivolous or not - it's not like they stole the money from you. 2. As to his charity, yes, some rich people donate a lot of money to charity, which I think is nice, don't you? So, they do some good for poor people AND they have money for nice things. Do you expect them to give everything away? As to Cuba - if you don't like that some people are rich and some are poor, then where else would you go?
@jewelmarkess Re 1. The idea that the only two judgments we can make about a man's use of money are 'stealing is bad' and 'all else is acceptable' is entirely unconvincing. I doubt you even believe this in your own life. Re 2. Again, you're babbling. his charity and Cuba are irrelevant and mentioning them is farcical.
@iwpoe I didn't say "all else is acceptable", for example cheating isn't, breaking the law isn't or hurting people isn't acceptable. But spending money on things that make one happy that are not hurting anybody is perfectly fine. I don't see any problems with it. And yes, the fact that he doesn't spend all of his money frivolously but gives a large portion to good causes is a good thing. What do you expect, that rich people should give all their money away? Do you give everything away?
@jewelmarkess Merely a pedantic reply. I was not talking of crimes. Thrift, even in rich men, is both admirable and prudent. The opposite of this- extravagance -is wasteful and often, in our debt ridden economy, either dangerous or else the cultivation of a dangerous habit. No one wants an extravagant friend, spouse, child or family member (unless they're extravagant in spending on you but this is a different kind of judgement). Again, your talk on charity is irrelevant.
@iwpoe Why is thrift in rich people admirable? What is the point of having money if not to enjoy them? And yes, giving to charity is relevant, because giving to others speaks well about a person. As to spending, do you want to die with millions in the bank without having enjoyed things you like? Buying stuff one cannot afford is a dangerous habit, but there is nothing wrong with extravagant things you can afford that make you happy.
@jewelmarkess Because it permits better investment, reflects tighter business practices, and lowers risk. Thrift for a rich man means good investment and prudent use of funds. Charity is irrelevant to this conversation because it had nothing to do with the issue at hand. No one is seriously disputing charity. The problem with the purchase of extravagant items is that it cultivates a habit and accustoms one to being unable to handle downturns. It also makes one vulnerable.
@iwpoe They may well have enough money for investment AND to buy stuff they want AND to donate to charity AND still have enough left to survive downturns. What is "frugal" is relative. For one person a new Honda Civic is a luxury, for another person it's cost is pocket change. Bottom line - it's not you business how other people spend their money.
@jewelmarkess The conclusion does not follow. Everything that is public is my business. Judgement does not *turn off* because it's not me, and it's not wrong because its not me either.
At any rate, one suspects that the man who buys a $22,000 cat does not make such frivolous purchases in isolation. That's the problem of habit I've brought up before. There is little other reason, apart from a rare connoisseurship cats, to spend that kind of money.
@iwpoe You can comment on anything that is public, just as I can disagree about it being your business. If someone can afford to spend 22,000 on a cat, one can probably afford to spend money on other things e.g. a million dollar diamond necklace. If your net worth is in seven digits than a 22,000 expense isn't such a huge expense. Do I think these people are stupid - sure, simply because this is a scam, the cat's real price is around $3500. But maybe it's pocket change for them.
@iwpoe Additionally, what you say about habit isn't true. Sometimes people really want something, and saves specifically for it, but cuts on something else. What is important to one person is frivolous to another. If someone really wants an F1 Savannah (this cat is an F2 - cheaper) because of its looks, this person can save specifically for it and cut on something another person may consider more important. Then there are seriously rich people ...
dumb fucking americans would happily that much of money on a fucking pet.. and what's funny that they would even give all of their fortune to their pets when they die.. so fucked up society they live in
@mufoit It's not just Americans, rich people from many different countries fell for this scam and bought these cats. In fact the DNA tests that proved that Ashera is the same as Savannah were done on cats imported into Holland by Dutch people.
@jewelmarkess yeah europeans would do the the research to the dumb americans.. and the americans would buy that, and you dont hear about people giving all of their fortune to their pets outside of the usa as much as you do in the usa
@mufoit Hello? If Europeans did the research, how come Dutch people bought the cats? I heard many rich Russians bought them too. Seriously, you are the one who needs to do some research, you didn't even know this cat breed is a scam. Additionally, if people have money to spend, it's their money and their right to spend it any way they want.
@jewelmarkess i could care less about a cat's breed. it just pisses me off to see that people spend such money on pets while people in many different parts of the world are dying out of hunger, lack of drinking water, and diseases.. and we, on the other hand of the world, seek what you call rare species to raise in our homes..
@mufoit Life isn't fair. It's their money, as far as you know they didn't steal it. You don't know, maybe these people do donate money to charities that help these hungry people. Do you only spend money on basic necessities and send the rest to dying people in Africa? If you are a student now, do you think if you were to land a great job you'd send all your earning to poor people? Not make a purchase others may consider frivolous?
@mufoit Ever heard of Bill Gates? He made a lot of money because he's got a great idea and founded Microsoft which employs a lot of people. He has a foundation that raises a lot of money to help these poor people you are talking about. I am sure he bought a thing or two for himself that you'd consider a waste of money. So? It's his money, he does a lot of good with it, but he has a right to spend some of it on himself. What do you propose? Redistribution? You can try Cuba then...
@jewelmarkess hahahaha bill gates' organization (the bill & melinda found.) can kiss my ass and every other organization that was created in the united states.. they pretend to be helping others outside the us but they don't do shit really, all they do is take some pictures with some of the poor and write a report and publish it in the NY times and americans would be oh look what a nice thing to do to help people, i'm gonna help them out.. in reality, those people don't get shit from you guys
@jewelmarkess just a few organizations really do their job, the others are just some hollywood style way of help which is bullshit.. go to the real world and look what you're 'non-profit organizations' do out there. that's if you have ever left your country
@mufoit So instead of talking and showing your envy for those who are luckier than you are, why don't you earn some money and then organize a charity that do useful things? You hate the US, but I bet if someone offered you the opportunity to come here, you'd be happy to do it.
@mufoit If you learn your bachelor's degree from the US, shouldn't you be grateful they gave you the opportunity? At any rate, it means you have some money. Do you only spend on basic necessity and give everything away? Do you ever buy anything other than necessities e.g. jewelry? nice things? Honestly.
@mufoit (cont) Also, do you for some reason believe that rich people in your country would never buy an expensive item they don't really need e.g. gold, jewelry, nice clothing? So... some people buy expensive diamonds others - expensive cats.
@jewelmarkess That's all nonsense on stilts. If you really believe "it's his money" is good enough to justify frivolous purchases why do you (1) appeal to his charity and (2) appeal to bad (and false) alternatives. If "it's his money" is really good enough what do his charity and "Cuba" have to do with anything? You either don't believe in your own core ideology- 'most any purchase is acceptable' -or you don't believe that it will convince anyone.
@iwpoe They don't need to justify anything including frivolous purchases. They earned the money and they can use them in whatever way they want. They didn't steal the money from you. Why don't you create a business, earn some money and then you can spend it however you like - including on frivolous purchases.Or donate.
@iwpoe (cont). I don't know anything about these people who bought this cat or even if they are real people and not somebody Simon Brodie hired to promote his cat. As to Gates -- he earned his money. He doesn't need to justify how he spends it. I don't need to appeal to any charity: I came to the US from the Soviet Union with NOTHING, but I worked hard and I am doing fine, and I don't owe my money to you or anybody.
@iwpoe 1. Ashera is a scam, the real breed is Savannah resold for several times the price by a scam artist. 2. First generation Savannahs are extremely difficult to breed: matings need to be supervised or Serval can kill a domestic female, the litters are small 1-2 kittens, often premature and need to be bottle fed, high kitten mortality. 3. F1-F4 males are sterile 4. Price drops with each generation, F5 is like any pedigreed cat. Oh - and prepare for spraying.
@robobear510 yeah that's what i was thinking. they even put branding on fish now as in i've read articles "glowfish (c) *insert company here" it's a sick world =(
(continued from below) He was loving one minute and horribly wild the next. I found that if I played with him several times a day, every day until he was exhausted he didn't destroy things, and since I couldn't find a new home for him I talked his old owner into taking him back. He wasn't a house cat and he wasn't something that could live in the wild, either. DO NOT GET ONE OF THESE CATS!
I ended up with one for FREE when I was doing pet rescue. He was half serval and half bengal (Asian leopard cat and domestic cat). He looked much more like a serval than this one does. He was surrendered by his owner because he chewed everything around the house. He even destroyed a blender.
@Travelwise65 Any Serval-domestic (even if domestic is a Bengal) hybrid is a Savannah cat. Ashera=Savannah, a scam. If the owner couldn't keep it, why did the owner not contact Savannah Cat Rescue? Look them up, I did, they have a waiting list and no cats available. So you got an F1 Savannah, yes, I read they are destructive, the owner should've done his research. I did, and decided Savannah isn't for me... But really, a lot of irresponsible people get cats then dump them.
The sad thing is this is a scam, several of these cats have been seized during transport and proven to be nothing but Savannah's. A Savannah IS similar to this "breed", but it does not include an Asian leopard. It also sells on average for less then 1/4th of the price you would be paying for one of these cat's.
It is a beautiful breed however, this particular style of colors coming from using a Bengal, or Mau to breed with the Serval.
@SeachainAroon Nobody knows that. Savannah breeders don't make this claim, only a scam artist that resells Savannahs as Asheras does. Good luck to people trying to collect on this "warranty".
I once had a cat named loreye we found right after christmas vacation she begged so we fed here she came back every night so we kept her,she could take care of hereself outside for the day and when we found her she had a twisted tail but now we live in a cursed urban apartment so we gave her away, atleast she has a good home
How do they know it lives for 25 years if the breed was developed more recently than that? I think either they have a time machine and aren't telling is, or they made that bit up.
To each his own I guess. I personally took in a tiny emaciated female kitten someone had found tied inside a garbage bag and in the trash and nursed her to health and she has been worth more than 10 of these cats.It is sad that hundreds of cats are euthnized every year because people either want that exotic look or at the least a purebred.I have always found the "mutts" to be less tempremental and easier to live with anyway, wether cat or dog.
@Tinyoak2 I also have a kitty from a shelter. But, I do understand the interest in purebreds: other than looks one likes, you get predictability in personality. In most cases, with pedigred cats you can predict if they are going to be active or laid back for example. Depends on one's lifestyle some breeds are more suitable than others. "mutts" tend to be healthier. I go to a cat show almost every year to see cats, and it's always tempting with all the gorgeous kittens there...
@Tinyoak2 I agree... and when it comes down to purebreds, all it rlly is is inbreeding and making the animals more prone to viruses and shit like that
Agree 100%. This is beyond ridiculous and literally kills other animals due to the arrogance of people. I would rather have an affectionate cat I found on the street.
@Bfblair Yeah, i found my cat starving 2 years ago on the streets and took her in. Now she's my little lazy buddy who i think forgot she was ever Abandoned.
@Tinyoak2 i had two purerbreds once i had an ocicat and an abysinian both of them had beautiful pelts but they both had eating disorders as in they couldn't stomach anything but the best medicated cat food from the vet and the cats ended up costing us a fourtune. Then i got a little mutt kitten and sadly she ran away but i reckon she's dead now.but she was like a family member and followed me everywhere and even sat up at the table with us in her own chair. haha
@struckar86 You mean to say spokesperson of the firm that RESELLs these cats. Ashera is a scam, the firm that sells them doesn't breed them, just buys Savannah cats and resells for several times the price.
Asheras are just expensive Savannahs, it is a gimmick! Savannahs are bred down from the African Serval and crossed with other domesticated breeds, INCLUDING the Benagl, which is descended from the Asian Leopard Cat. What does that mean? Sorry, the "Ashera" is just a Savannah this breed is already claimed. F1 Savannahs are like $20k, but I got an F5 for $900.
personally the cat is beautiful and its the person prerogative to buy what they want with THIER money..... if u wanna do something else with $22k make your own $22k and spend it else where
Why don't you take those $22k to actually save the serval's and leopard's endangered habitats instead of wasting them in your ridiculous selfish pamperings?
Rich bitch says: "Oooh, I have a $22k cat at home, and it's so fancy! Nobody else has one like this one. Meeee?! having just a 'cat'?! No way!! Do you think that this already makes me the big shit in the trash talk of our rich bitches social meetings or do I still need to try harder?"
@SomeoneCommenting A leopard? LOL. Do you really believe a leopard and a cat can produce kittens? Ashera is a scam, there is no such breed. Serval has been crossed with domestics a couple of decades ago to produce Savannah cat. Ashera is a Savannah cat with a higher price tag. As to the leopard, most Savannah cats have a Bengal cat in their ancestry, Bengal = Asian Leopard CAT(!) + domestic. Stupid reporter doesn't know the difference between a leopard and leopard cat.
This bitch needs to die. That's so fucking horrible, advocating people spending enough money to take care of thousands of animals for a year, on ONE specially bred cat? FUCK YOU.
And I'll bet a loudmouth like is is doing absolutely NOTHING to help the poor animals you are talking about. Do you actually go around the streets feeding "homeless" cats? Didn't think so.
@IkeDyson71 and an uneducated dimwit like yourself should know that wandering the streets feeding homeless animals is one of the WORST things you can do, it encourages them to survive and breed in the streets which ultimately leads to more starving, hurting animals. If you want to do good, donate to/volunteer with an organization that promotes education about the issue, and no-kill procedures that actually HELP the animals, and for your information, I not only donate, I also volunteer!

Doesn't the Asian Leopard Cat cross with a domestic breed create the Bengal cat?
TheAngryNarcissist 2 weeks ago
@TheAngryNarcissist Yes. Asian Leopard Cat crossed with a domestic creates the Bengal cat. Serval crossed with a domestic cat creates a Savannah cat. Since Bengal cats are domestic cats, a cross between a Bengal and a Serval is a Savannah cat with some Asian Leopard Cat blood. Hence the only difference between an Ashera and a Savannah is the price.
serrateresa 1 day ago
20,000 dollars for a car that lives 20 years. Thats a 1000 dollars for every year you have it. You could get a much cooler exotic for cheaper than that amount. Especially one thats just not an over-sized version of a regular house cat.

@jewelmarkess You've simply babbled about irrelevancy and dodged the simple question I asked. You couldn't stick to your simple commitment, which isn't really very compelling, but instead felt like you needed to go on about charity and "Cuba". Why? Do you not believe yourself?
iwpoe 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe 1.I don't think anybody has to justify how they spend their money whether it's frivolous or not - it's not like they stole the money from you. 2. As to his charity, yes, some rich people donate a lot of money to charity, which I think is nice, don't you? So, they do some good for poor people AND they have money for nice things. Do you expect them to give everything away? As to Cuba - if you don't like that some people are rich and some are poor, then where else would you go?
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess Re 1. The idea that the only two judgments we can make about a man's use of money are 'stealing is bad' and 'all else is acceptable' is entirely unconvincing. I doubt you even believe this in your own life. Re 2. Again, you're babbling. his charity and Cuba are irrelevant and mentioning them is farcical.
iwpoe 3 weeks ago

Again, your talk on charity is irrelevant.
iwpoe 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe Why is thrift in rich people admirable? What is the point of having money if not to enjoy them? And yes, giving to charity is relevant, because giving to others speaks well about a person. As to spending, do you want to die with millions in the bank without having enjoyed things you like? Buying stuff one cannot afford is a dangerous habit, but there is nothing wrong with extravagant things you can afford that make you happy.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess Because it permits better investment, reflects tighter business practices, and lowers risk. Thrift for a rich man means good investment and prudent use of funds. Charity is irrelevant to this conversation because it had nothing to do with the issue at hand. No one is seriously disputing charity. The problem with the purchase of extravagant items is that it cultivates a habit and accustoms one to being unable to handle downturns. It also makes one vulnerable.
iwpoe 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe They may well have enough money for investment AND to buy stuff they want AND to donate to charity AND still have enough left to survive downturns. What is "frugal" is relative. For one person a new Honda Civic is a luxury, for another person it's cost is pocket change. Bottom line - it's not you business how other people spend their money.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess The conclusion does not follow. Everything that is public is my business. Judgement does not *turn off* because it's not me, and it's not wrong because its not me either.
At any rate, one suspects that the man who buys a $22,000 cat does not make such frivolous purchases in isolation. That's the problem of habit I've brought up before. There is little other reason, apart from a rare connoisseurship cats, to spend that kind of money.
iwpoe 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe You can comment on anything that is public, just as I can disagree about it being your business. If someone can afford to spend 22,000 on a cat, one can probably afford to spend money on other things e.g. a million dollar diamond necklace. If your net worth is in seven digits than a 22,000 expense isn't such a huge expense. Do I think these people are stupid - sure, simply because this is a scam, the cat's real price is around $3500. But maybe it's pocket change for them.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe Additionally, what you say about habit isn't true. Sometimes people really want something, and saves specifically for it, but cuts on something else. What is important to one person is frivolous to another. If someone really wants an F1 Savannah (this cat is an F2 - cheaper) because of its looks, this person can save specifically for it and cut on something another person may consider more important. Then there are seriously rich people ...

mufoit 4 weeks ago
@mufoit It's not just Americans, rich people from many different countries fell for this scam and bought these cats. In fact the DNA tests that proved that Ashera is the same as Savannah were done on cats imported into Holland by Dutch people.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess yeah europeans would do the the research to the dumb americans.. and the americans would buy that, and you dont hear about people giving all of their fortune to their pets outside of the usa as much as you do in the usa
mufoit 3 weeks ago
@mufoit Hello? If Europeans did the research, how come Dutch people bought the cats? I heard many rich Russians bought them too. Seriously, you are the one who needs to do some research, you didn't even know this cat breed is a scam. Additionally, if people have money to spend, it's their money and their right to spend it any way they want.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess i could care less about a cat's breed. it just pisses me off to see that people spend such money on pets while people in many different parts of the world are dying out of hunger, lack of drinking water, and diseases.. and we, on the other hand of the world, seek what you call rare species to raise in our homes..
mufoit 3 weeks ago
@mufoit Life isn't fair. It's their money, as far as you know they didn't steal it. You don't know, maybe these people do donate money to charities that help these hungry people. Do you only spend money on basic necessities and send the rest to dying people in Africa? If you are a student now, do you think if you were to land a great job you'd send all your earning to poor people? Not make a purchase others may consider frivolous?
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@mufoit Ever heard of Bill Gates? He made a lot of money because he's got a great idea and founded Microsoft which employs a lot of people. He has a foundation that raises a lot of money to help these poor people you are talking about. I am sure he bought a thing or two for himself that you'd consider a waste of money. So? It's his money, he does a lot of good with it, but he has a right to spend some of it on himself. What do you propose? Redistribution? You can try Cuba then...
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess hahahaha bill gates' organization (the bill & melinda found.) can kiss my ass and every other organization that was created in the united states.. they pretend to be helping others outside the us but they don't do shit really, all they do is take some pictures with some of the poor and write a report and publish it in the NY times and americans would be oh look what a nice thing to do to help people, i'm gonna help them out.. in reality, those people don't get shit from you guys
mufoit 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess just a few organizations really do their job, the others are just some hollywood style way of help which is bullshit.. go to the real world and look what you're 'non-profit organizations' do out there. that's if you have ever left your country
mufoit 3 weeks ago
@mufoit So instead of talking and showing your envy for those who are luckier than you are, why don't you earn some money and then organize a charity that do useful things? You hate the US, but I bet if someone offered you the opportunity to come here, you'd be happy to do it.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess earn some money??? hahahahahah you don't know me.
and btw i got my bachelor's degree from the us, i lived there for several years. and i pray that i'll never have to go there again..
mufoit 3 weeks ago
@mufoit If you learn your bachelor's degree from the US, shouldn't you be grateful they gave you the opportunity? At any rate, it means you have some money. Do you only spend on basic necessity and give everything away? Do you ever buy anything other than necessities e.g. jewelry? nice things? Honestly.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@mufoit (cont) Also, do you for some reason believe that rich people in your country would never buy an expensive item they don't really need e.g. gold, jewelry, nice clothing? So... some people buy expensive diamonds others - expensive cats.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@jewelmarkess That's all nonsense on stilts. If you really believe "it's his money" is good enough to justify frivolous purchases why do you (1) appeal to his charity and (2) appeal to bad (and false) alternatives. If "it's his money" is really good enough what do his charity and "Cuba" have to do with anything? You either don't believe in your own core ideology- 'most any purchase is acceptable' -or you don't believe that it will convince anyone.
iwpoe 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe They don't need to justify anything including frivolous purchases. They earned the money and they can use them in whatever way they want. They didn't steal the money from you. Why don't you create a business, earn some money and then you can spend it however you like - including on frivolous purchases.Or donate.
jewelmarkess 3 weeks ago
@iwpoe (cont). I don't know anything about these people who bought this cat or even if they are real people and not somebody Simon Brodie hired to promote his cat. As to Gates -- he earned his money. He doesn't need to justify how he spends it. I don't need to appeal to any charity: I came to the US from the Soviet Union with NOTHING, but I worked hard and I am doing fine, and I don't owe my money to you or anybody.

iwpoe 1 month ago

He wasn't a house cat and he wasn't something that could live in the wild, either. DO NOT GET ONE OF THESE CATS!
Travelwise65 1 month ago
I ended up with one for FREE when I was doing pet rescue. He was half serval and half bengal (Asian leopard cat and domestic cat). He looked much more like a serval than this one does. He was surrendered by his owner because he chewed everything around the house. He even destroyed a blender.
Travelwise65 1 month ago

Tinyoak2 2 months ago 44
@Tinyoak2 God bless you
Angelfeather44 2 months ago
@Tinyoak2 I also have a kitty from a shelter. But, I do understand the interest in purebreds: other than looks one likes, you get predictability in personality. In most cases, with pedigred cats you can predict if they are going to be active or laid back for example. Depends on one's lifestyle some breeds are more suitable than others. "mutts" tend to be healthier. I go to a cat show almost every year to see cats, and it's always tempting with all the gorgeous kittens there...
