this was an awesome party .. -this is a song he wrote for the movie "May I Be Frank" .. this performance was at a fundraiser in S.F. for Grateful Mind and Body Health Collective, which I was involved in .. none of us found the time to get the collective off the ground .. but we sure threw a kick-ass party :)

Jason showed up as a secret special guest.. drove up from LA right after hosting some big TV thing .. a contest show for ppl to become the next big star (dunno, am TV ignorant for 15yrs :)

You're insanely famous, just came off a TV set, hopped in a car driven by some of your best music buddies, drove 500 miles to do a TINY benefit show for Cafe Gratitude friends ... where you were treated like a regular guy, no one ogling you or bugging you for your autograph ... seemed to me like Jason had a great time :-)

Like I said, it was a form of convention. They had booths up and they were selling things and had samples of health drinks, raffles and all sorts of thing. The music was kind of suppose to be background/secondary to the charity that was going on.

in all fairness, this was held at an event for the gratitude cafe in a large room. There were a lot of tables set up to talk and find out about different products and issues. The music wasnt the main part of the night.
