That's actually the blank adapter; the laser projector is the black thing over it. When firing blanks, you need to attach the big yellow adapter so it closes off the barrel and allows for the gases from firing to be contained and work the action. Without one of those big adapters (or closing off the barrel like in movie guns), it'll jam.

@hks071 As a former Cavalry Scout - 19D for you couch sitting, military specialists who have never once even applied to join - I must inform you that the lazer system being employed by the British Special Forces in this video are notoriously inaccurate. I once fired my weapon at a distance of 25m and missed!! Such a shot could be made from the hip...backwards, in a windy day with ease using typical ammunition. Just thought you would appreciate an insider's viewpoint and information. Good day!!!
