I'm not sure that An-12 was in flight condition at that time.... It looks like its vertical fin/rudder was already broken up (0:35)! Maybe it was just abandoned in a remote area of the airfield!
@Lemev Yes it could or could not have been war ready but you also gotta take into account that it's still war you can never let your guard down. always have to be sure.
@jaglavaksoldier I've been trying to find the footage of the attacks on the captured Kuwaiti Airlines A300's, I guess two of them got caught on the ground and destroyed in the first week of the war, I believe in Bagbad.

@bodarwa I don't see the tell tale tail gun (or provision for gun) that an AN12 would have plus the nose is not right for an AN12.
