People don't use ancient knowledge instead they tend to tweak it or create new theories until they understand it, so the real answers are in books that are dated before WW2 and such, it's what influenced people's minds back then. History repeats itself as they say, so logically if you want the truth/answers all you have to do is to look back.

As a child, I had dreams of books such as these. In the dreams, they were called "The Caveman Bible" because they predated the christian bible by aeons and contained hidden truths. It may sound strange, but I found it extremely fascinating.
I know no-one will listen, because the draw to know what is behind the closed door is a deeply human instinct, but my advice would be to stay away from magic, it wont stop you dying or change anything physical about your world, but it might ruin what treasures of the mind and soul you already have, i was chewed up and spat out by magic, and 5 years later I am a shaddow of who i used to be.

books and they should take a portion if there still is a copyright holder, but besides typing them up, there is no reason they should be so hard to find. you should type up sections and sell pdf files typing brings the words cognitivly deeper

The first editions aren't always superior to the revised copies. Alot of times authors release revised versions because they screwed shit u pin the first edition.

A superb library! As an unrepentent bibliophile I have thousands of books but only a handful of old titles - which I value dearly. There is indeed 'something' about an old book. Many years ago a friend gave me a first edition of Gitanjali which saved my life. I later gave it to another friend whose life it saved too. Perhaps these very powerful energies for good are what we pick up from certain books.

As a writer and a love for old books, so many of them works of art, the idea of *any* book being burned is really a horrible thought to me---conjures up images of Nazi book burnings and such.
The freedom of books, the written word, is *so* important, whether you agree with the content or not.
