  • thanks for the review. i tried EVERYTING over the counter. my major problem is black heads. i went to google and typed in : cure for blackheads lol and paulas site was first i read some reviews and ordered it. im still waiting on my shippment but im excited about trying it , i hear so many good things about it even tho i never herd of this line before. thanks on the good review.

  • A guy guru I love it! Great review, would this product help acne scars, I have a ton :(

  • you are hoooooot

  • decorating your bedroom is so nice ^_^ thanks for recommend paula's choice

  • I use this and it's a really great product! Paulas Choice products are about results not hype.

  • how long before you saw results in your white and blackheads????

  • Ur hot love ur shirt ;)

  • I got a question for anyone able to answer.

How often am I to use this? I've heard that exfoliation is bad everyday. However this isn't using anything physical to scrape away at it.....also if that's the case, do I use this WITH my cleanser or intertwine them? I am lost :( skin care is hardz.

  • @skipskops I use this EVERY day @ night only. Actually, I use a stronger version of this called "CLEAR Extra Strength Targeted Acne Relief Toner 2% Salicylic Acid". I've used what Ross uses (regular strengh) and it cleared my black heads. I've been using the CLEAR X-tra stength for 4 months now and my results are beyond words. I use it @ night because it leaves a sticky residue. I chemically exfoliate every day and manually exfoliate every day as well (I use the Nutrisonic sensitive brush head).

  • Daily exfoliation is not necessarily the issue. It is what your skin can withstand and it will let you know! Chemical exfoliants reach deeper (somewhat technically) than physical/manual exfoliating methods. ALL can be irritating depending on your skin's sensitivity. BHA (Beta Hydroxy Acids) are geared more for oily skin as it can break down lipids (oil/black heads etc) where as AHA (Alpha Hydroxy Acids-glycolic, lactic, malic etc) do NOT. Furthermore, AHAs are hydration binders.

  • @wickidwanda Oh thank you! I wish I understand that about AHA before.....I might have actually picked up that one lol

  • you're so cute, and i'm a girl btw lol *SUBSCRIBED*

  • you have fantastic skin! very good looking too!

  • great review :) i'm saving up for some paula's choice and my sister is currently waiting for a paula's choice package in the mail!!

  • sooo.. r u like gay?

  • @111NoOne111 what does being gay have to do with this video or even skin care in general ?

  • can u tell me how the product was sealed when u got it? I got mine and it did not hv a seal on the inside. It only had a seal on the outside with just a small sticker over the cap and the bottle.

  • since it is an exfoliating liquid, does that mean I can skip using a toner (from another brand that i'm using) since this is considered a toner as well?

  • OMG..you review is awesome!!!! useful..

  • You're a total cutie.

  • What a great review! I'm looking to buy this and you covered everything I need to know. And I'm female! but have a breakout of acne at present hence looking for this product. You are lovely :)

  • hi ross,

is there a drugstore alternative to this that has similar inexpedience?

  • so, do you use a moisturizer after this product?

  • @brussels73 I'm also very curious about this :)

  • i just bought this product BHA exfoliating liquid and it looks smaller than the one he's holding i'm not sure can someone please explain

  • I just purchased the 2% BHA Exfoliating liquid , lets just hope it workd well with my skin.

  • Love your review. I found Paula's Choice after watching Penn & Teller's Fountain of Youth. What do you recommend for powder etc... you were talking about?

  • thanks for the review, i ended up buying the liquid afterwards - it's only been a few days but i've seen great improvements in skin texture, the appearance of my clogged pores and a big reduction in oil!

  • Good review! Which form of the 2% BHA would you suggest for a girl who has blackheads & some acne that is under control ( I use products with benzoyl peroxide), but I also love to wear makeup and would like it to last through out the day. Would you suggest the liquid, lotion, or gel ? Thanks!

  • Paula's Choice is fabulous. I love the 2% BHA. Your skin will be so smooth and just feel amazing with use of this. Her moisturizers are wonderful, also. Love, love, her products. They are available on line only, I think. I have used her products now, for years. Her products do what they say they are supposed to do! Love them.

  • NOTE

1)takes up to 3 months for results - work slowly & over time.

2)using more than dime size does not render it more effective, takes time

    2) BHA AND AHA take off layers of the skin (in a completely safe and benefical manner like a chemical scrub). New skin underneath is exposed, more vulnurable to sun, MUST WEAR SUNBLOCK

see the webstie for more details.

  • Hello

I was thinking of trying this but saw some reviews on the product website which express dissapointment in a recent formula change in the product. Those same reviewers loved the original formula. Could you comment on this.

  • Does anyone know where I can buy this product in Canada?

  • @andlau88 well paulas choice dot com (which is the official site) offers shipping to Canada :)

  • Ross, I just bought this on account of your video. I use Paula's Choice anyway...What other Paula's Choice products do you use? PS how long til I see results with this? Thanks

  • @23hugsnkisses: I am a 30yo male and I also occasionally get pimples after shaving, esp if I shave when the hair is short, not a perfectly sharp razor, or I try to shave too close. Been looking for a way to get around this because I prefer to be clean shaven, now I have to wait 3-4 days between shaves for my face to recover and hair to grow out otherwise it gets irritated and breaks out.

  • I love your skin :)

  • My friend says he gets pimples after shaving, why is that and will this product help?

  • Again, great post - thank you. You mentioned you utilize a powder occassionally to even out skin tone. What's your 'take' on foundation/concealer? You probably already have a video for it, i'll go look :)

  • Hi Ross-

Very accurate review of this product. I ordered the small sample packs to see if I would like it. I have combination skin and didn't like the shine on my forehead. I switched to DDF Gylcolic 5% Exfoliating Wash for night and Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel for day with amazing results. I use Murad Clarifying Toner daily and REN glycolactic Skin Renewal Peel Mask 3x week. Lastly, for my moisturizer I use Philosphy's Hope in a Jar and Jack's Black Oil Free Ultra Light Sunscreen 20.

  • Thanks for sharing your skin care routine! Glycolic cleansers are great for resurfacing the skin, they reduce fine lines, improve texture/tone as well as reduce scar marks from acne. I'm glad you use a daily moisturizer with sunscreen b/c anything with glycolic acid (aka: AHA) will make your skin photosensitive. The BHA will work underneath the skin...I recommend using BHA in the morning and AHA at night. Take care!

    Ross
