I think one of the reasons for sometimes not seeing the planes is that they are sometimes made somewhere else nearby then drift closer. Boy, at 2:03, that plane really has it coming out thickly and of course there was a typical low flying dark plane also.
I meant the trail was very thick and wide and maybe wider than the plane, thusly hiding plane from view. Bu now am starting to wonder if military might be using something other than/smaller than planes to spray. You have any theories on this?

Actually, I sometimes do not see the aircraft as the contrails are being formed.

I noticed after making comment that the trail was so thick and seemed wider than the plane, maybe hiding the plane from view.

Sorry but I am a little confused by your comment. The trail follows the jet and should not hide it?!?!

Yesterday someone emailed a few photos of what looked like an orb leaving a double trail. I am quite baffled.

Scary. Sounds like they didn't have enough planes to spray with.
