Love the video, who is the music by? 5/5! These stone ruins must prove that people across britain would have lived just as comfortably in similiar structures constructed from different materials. Fascinating.
Sadly never took any video footage of this site day we visited,only during my lunch break on south side of Skaill Bay.Same with night we all went to Ring o' Brodgar only pix.Ken next time.Mind you less interested in Neolithic sites now after Snusgar...
Archeologists have recently discovered another Neolithic settlement dating back nearly 5,000 years on Orkney. Oval and split into chambers their construction suggests they were temples. At the moment only a small part of the settlement has been unearthed but work continues on the 2.5 hectare site and they believe there is much more underground.

the area is called skerrabra, the site is skara brae, i was refering to the site as a whole before the storm revealed skara brae
