  • Stupid video and two guys not knowing what they're talking about and going up a simple dirt road that a regular old plastic car could up with possibly some damage lol

  • Off-road tires vs. Street tires: comparison fail.

  • I like these comparison tests

  • Dude i drive my car faster offroad than that...on a daily basis!

  • good god that better than my driveway and i do it in a deawoo kalos

  • links to the addons would be nice.. :)

  • es lo mas malo que he visto, no necesita traccion para ese camino

  • haha ford raptor at the end

  • you should of tested a vitara against a grand vitara .. i have a 1996 vitara with a 3" lift kit bull bar snorkel winch 2 1/4 inch exhaust . and 30'' muddies .. and its a wepon of road =D

  • you dont say he was a bit nervous ey?? fuck dude we heard you the 1st time you said it.

on a side note, wtf was the point of this video??

  • this model does not have a frame, 05 was the last year of the body on frame design. Geesh do a little home work befor ya talk

  • So basically, what you are saying is that if you want a car for the trail you are going to have to modify it a little bit...I really do not understand what this "test" accomplished, other than to unnecessarily prove a time-honored truth of off-roading. I mean, heck, Go find an old, used Explorer, and, I guarantee you it will a) beat both of these grocery-getters up that trail, and b) do it for a tenth of the cost. (I don't mention any others because I;ve only owned an Explorer.)

  • Wow what a waste of time! when do they go off road?

  • 3:00 Did he really just say that it can off road really well? bullshit!! get a Jeep!

  • My driveway is much worse than this "trail"

  • oh hell give me a break really? i have takin my 95 buick granny car through crazier shit then that

  • That shits junk, fire roads is not offroading... Oh shit watch out for that pothole

  • inch and a half lift.....you can clear a curb bad ass. BUY A JEEP

  • even though the lifted one looked pretty good, my camaro could do any of those trails

  • My Nissan Versa have seen much harder roads than you guys used for the video.

Stop being a girl... "I'm worried about the height..."

  • im sorry this is all opinion i wish they would have actually picked the hard spots on the trail and see how they both did side by side one after another.

  • @k2sb20033 We'd love to test the cars side by side in the very deep stuff but that's pretty hard to do when it is not our car. We can't afford to damage the cars as much as we'd like to really push the limits of each car.

  • @romanmicagearguy if you can't test cars side by side in a way that potential buyers would use the vehicle there's no point doing a review. The manufacturers insurance should cover any dings. They are 4x4's after all!

  • @ptram83 I agree. Please send a letter to Suzuki because currently as it stands if we break it we pay for it.

  • it is not offroad if ANY other car could do it.. worst video ever!

  • @javiermv are they on a paved street? no so its off road dumbass

  • @javiermv actually its off road because they are off the road.

  • @Jsoto1115 well technically they are still on a road

  • @javiermv You're really right. I took a rented Sonata on something similar with no trouble.

  • I have to be honest.... That was a waste of time.

  • This car is shit. I drove one in Taiwan and it is noisy and feels cheap.

  • ...Maybe next time You should check these ladies-cars on the off-road ;)....

  • at the end there, i must admit, i think the ford raptor is really beast. but in the end, id still rather have a vehicle i built not a vehicle i bought.

  • if you bottom out on that track then pick a better line and go slower.

  • Suzuki needs to build this thing with a manual and with those suspension aftermarket parts. Lets see a POS Raptor go through a trail thats 6 feet wide!

  • Does anybody really care about the Suzuki? I know I don't. I'm interesting the Ford F-150 SVT Raptor.

  • @quatlen: You obviously cared enough about the Suzuki to watch the video and comment. The Raptor is a $50k+ purpose built truck. The Suzuki is a practical, highly capable compact SUV, that doubles gas mileage compared to the Raptor. I mean, I love the Ford, but let's get real, that's a lot of money to drop on a pick-up. As commiedog wrote, Suzukis in general fit where larger rigs cannot on the trail. I have a Samurai, Sidekick, and an 09 GV XSport, and they're great off-road.

  • @zukisidekick I care some what about all cars and put my time into researching all European and American production cars. All current Suzuki models rank lower in most areas then your typical car and look and feel cheap. I have been in all Suzukis models except for the Kizashi and can say that they're nothing special and Suzuki's sales numbers in the American and Canadian market will agree with me. There are better compact SUV's for your money that are much more durable and practical.

  • @quatlen While I won't argue that domestically Suzuki sales have been significantly lower than the competitive set. Mostly due in part to a lack of marketing.. Most buyers in N.America are unaware that Suzuki builds automobiles. I will argue that fit, finish, build, and overall quality are any less than competitors in their respective segments. I've had more problems with domestic and other japanese makes over Suzuki...I'd also like to hear which specific compact SUV is more durable.

  • @zukisidekick

I have two Suzuki Grand Vitara V6s as everyday workhorse cars for me and my wife. Certainly the interior could not be classed as luxurious, but it is very hard waring and durable, a quality that has proven to be quite elusive for almost every American car I have ever driven. The real acid test is how well does it last and how reliable is it, in my experience Japanese vehicles surpass all others in this respect, including German, English cars and especially American ones.

  • @quatlen

My experience of American cars is that they are typically constructed as cheaply as possible and then a thin layer of "gloss" applied to make them feel more expensive. Japanese vehicles have far better reliability, are much more durable and far more technologically advanced than "equivalent" American vehicles. For example many American cars are still using leaf springs in their suspension setup, this is something commonly found on horse and carts everywhere else in the world.

  • @quatlen

Yes I care about a Suzuki, because I need a car that spends more time on the road, than at the dealer having crappy problems put right that could have been ironed out with proper quality control and above all else proper design, with components built to last.

Commodity American cars in my experience tend to be low grade and low quality, and an SVT isn't going to be reliable either.

FORD = Fix Or Repair Daily - a well earned title.

    Or perhaps...

    Found On Rubbish Dump...

  • I always like the looks of these, stock or not!
