  • That is bare bones truck!...

  • that dash is naked

  • Why, I always ask Why they have a guy who is a suit/office rat instead of a driver to give details on a piece of equipment such as this and this guy probably can't drive a truck nor have license, this is bad for Peterbilt sales for me, I'll keep a Volvo

  • one ugly dash.

  • ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok ok is it ok?

  • it's only missing about 12 gauges!!!!!!

  • that dash is horrible!

  • that dash sucks

  • ok...ok....ok....ok.....ok

  • That would be a BIG mistake b/c cheap cameras would go out all the time when they are used in situations like that I am sure.

  • I got a 2011 pete 384 daycab with a ultra shift and c13 last month assigned to me. I drive a gas tanker. I do like the black dash more than a fake wood one. It seems to have electrical problems and it has been to the dealer twice for transmission problems. It does drive nice and I get 6.4 miles to the gallon. It is governed to 68 mph and turned down power some. I do not like the seat material and it needs another cup holder. The high beem blue dash light is TOO bright.

  • That dash is awfull, looks like it came straight out of a old russian army truck that was sold for 5 buck in afghanistan. And the cab of that socalled new perterbilt, or should we call it a retardbilt is the same old cab from the 50's. I bet the door from a 50's pete would fit just right on that cab. NO to the retardbilt, i'd rather drive a Volvo or a Mack. Peterbilt are running out of new ideas, that's why they keep facelifting old designs, because, they are like X president Bush, retarded.

  • @macktheknife888 how many models can you make out of a truck, give me 3. aint so easy is it

  • @macktheknife888 it isn't the same cab, I don't know when they changed but I'm pretty sure it was after that... I like the cab, not the biggest fan of the dash, I like the one they put in the medium duty models more.

  • @macktheknife888 It is, no improvement. The truck looks old and dated. The Freightliner Century dash from the late 90's looks 10X better than this. This cab is depressing to be in. I hate those head lights. Peterbilt just doesn't change.

  • God damn son!

    What a beautiful truck.

Of course all always prefer the Century over any other truck tho.

  • ok...

  • ok ok ok ok ok ok you are gay ok ok ok ok and asshole ok ok ok

  • your oking all the time annoying;(

  • STOP SAYING OK

  • Seems like such a meager improvement, i've always thought there was a lot of room for aerodynamic improvement for tractor trailers. You would think a fleet operator like walmart could dictate to both tractor and trailer mfr to work together to totally sleek out their rigs. Those deep dish wheels must trap a lot of air and why not just toss the mirrors and use inexpensive cameras and a LCD screen on the inside?

  • Believe it or not, the feds will NOT allow those side view mirrors to be removed. LCD screens were recommended by the federal government's own research arm for heavy trucks, but the fed safety folks nixed it. The wheels don't actually create much drag at all. And 12% fuel economy improvement is a LOT actually -- know it doesn't sound like much. Also, the shape of the trailer is dictated by the shape of cargo pallets -- that is why the trailer can't be shaped like a sleek submarine.

  • OMFG stop saying OK OK OK

  • ok ok ok ok ok lol I was thinking the same thing.
