@1988scottcarey honestly shut up. Québec is a rich region and our economy is based at 90% on exportation, we don't import. We can't die, worst thing that can happen is that Québec will be full of ressource whitout money. Québec islands are full of oil, our soil full of shale gas, our north full of iron, copper, silver, gold, ect. Our goverment own the biggest hydroelectric company in the world, we are everything except a third world country.

However if Quebec separates the land reverts back to the Indians who trust Quebec City less than they trust Canada. Quebec will be a thin strip of land next to the St Lawrence River. All your precious resources will be in the hands of the people Quebec City treats like their poor country cousins.

As for natives our government only had problem with the Cree, but they agree to join Québec if we vote independence during the Paix des Braves in 2002. I think you should know that natives only own their small reservation, they do not own the north. The north is own by the government of Québec, not the Federal. Your shity territorial threat only motivate us to make independence.
