it is so hard without a community, having everyone against you, being named a traitor and one who brings shame to the family or simply lost her mind, such a pressure and complete lack of understanding or good will around you... without support and guidance it is really hard, believe me... but Allah knows what is best for us, I make so many mistakes all the time, I bear consequences and keep going, the most important Alhamdulillah I have no doubts what the right way is and I keep getting back

Excellent video;but one thing I don't understand:if a convert doesn't practice,is he still a muslim or he is not considered one by the community?

Reverts, have a right and it's more complusary upon them, that they should take things slowly, that is what The Prophet ( saw) ordered them to do.

He said that they'll go to extremes easier, and so, they should take things slower, take things very slow. They are already far better then us, because they proved to Allah, they really do believe in him.

Dear Tuvalkain regarding your question about if a convert doesn't practice if he or she still a muslim or not ?

The answer it's very Simple : Yes of course no doubt that any muslim stay's muslim until he or she said that I do not beleive that Mohamed (saw) he is not a prophet and Allah(sw) does not exist and if she or he said that you became " a murtad" actualy worst then a normal none-muslim person ( wallahu alam!)

@Awdal1 a person can also become a disbeliver if the person worshipps anything else besides Allah. Many people who claim to be muslims worship many things. Allthough I am not sure what the islamic ruling is on them.
