  • i used to be like this alot but im not as bad as it used to be. your not crazy. sounds like you might need counciling or some kind of therapy or something like that. it doesnt make you insane at all, if its stopping your potential or affecting your life in a bad way, you need to do something about it. good luck man, peace.

  • dude dont worry, i'm the EXACT same way you are, i always question my sanity, but you think people who are actually insane ask themselves that question? i dont' think so. i spend hours alone in my room as well. that's when i feel most comfortable, and if being comfortable makes me insane then i guess i'm a fuckin lunatic but i'll tell you one thing, anyone who has ever known me might think 'm weird, however, they also find me intelligent as well. just as im sure you've been told.

  • WE ARE ALL F*CKING CRAZY!!!!!! MWHAHAHAHH! >:D AND DAMN PROUD!!!

  • I know from my own experience that guilt is the thing wich breeds all of the neurotic behaviour.

  • @nir8vana Can you message me why you believe this is so?

  • Great Video!! Very Honest

  • well you can relax now because hell doesnt exist

  • we need to be friends. i appreciate u sharing ur life wit us

  • i used to fear hell..then i realized that that was stupid...i mean ....hell?!!...come on...if this so called loving god is what he says he is...then why would he send u to hell?...i dont believe in god..not really..im agnostic..so im open to the belief....but it seems fake to me...my advice to everyone....just be a good person..i am a good person who doesnt have faith..and say gods name in vain all the time..i have impure thoughts..so..we are human...it cant be helped..justlive life2 the fullest

  • listen to me your not crazzy and your not alone i think every one in this entier world feels a lil bite like you they just cover it up

i just want you to know ur not alone

  • 1:43 lol same heree... its all of the package of being "weird"...feeling crazy n alone n shit... makes u kinda hate other people and then ourselves.

  • lmao i completely know where ur coming from. I had a "fire and brimstone" childhood too and it used to scare the shit outta me, and once in awhile it still does. Like woooww Eternity. 100 years is a long ass time...but eternity? Its like..past the concept of time. I have SA too and yea obsessing over 'how ur judged' like when i look at it objectively its bizarre even to ME

  • you remind me of my friend. she thinks shes crazy too.

and you kinda remind me of myself :P i think alot during conversations with other pepople. i think too much about WHAT TO SAY and WHEN to say it.

i say....its the gift of thinking alooot (well, a lot more than others)

just learn how to live with your crazyness :)

my crazy friend is an awesome persuasive writer, and debater. her over-thinking skills helped along.

and fuck the idea of someone watching you!

    nobody likes it.

  • Dont worry bud, im only after realizing i have SA just a few days ago but ive already pushed myself so hard that i know how to deal with it, you really have to stop thinking, push yourself, go out meet as many people as you can, and if you act weird in front of people. dont give a f**k just do it, thats the trick really, and yes its also the problem.... its really hard yes but just force yourself

  • Growing up, and even sometimes now, I have felt/feel like I was on The Truman Show - everyone watching. I also think that people can tell what I'm thinking based on what I do

  • Everyone has that inner dialogue in their head, deciding what to say and trying not to look/sound dumb....even the people that look so confidant and easy going in social situations.

  • @2322008 But it seems that with anxiety that dialogue malfunctions, when your healthy it just flows and your not nervous your being yourself and you can talk freely

    Source: My own experience

  • Comment removed

  • i think your funni and kewl.. i was tryna comment on one of ur other vids but i dont think it worked... people with social anxiety need to do everything that make them feel anxious.. the thing is it's easier said than done :D but once uv done it its like boo yea i did it woo

  • nawhhh you are NOT crazy i actually like watching you videos dont worry trust me your videos are gooood lol :D:D

  • You're not crazy.

  • Hey, Pat, do you know George Carlin ?

  • How does the hilly-billy Ozark girl know when her mother's having her period?

when her brother's dick tastes funny!

    -George Carlin

  • Your not crazy homie

  • Interesting, I've never really thought about the correlation between religion and social anxiety disorder. I was very religious until I turned 17 or so and am currently suffering terribly with anxiety (at 21, but it's been there since I was about 12). I know religion isn't the reason, but it's an interesting thought and may have contributed some. I don't have god to talk to now so I talk to myself and am therefore crazy in a unconventional way. hah.

  • So true man, i don't wanna sit around all day, but i do, and i think about things before i say them, but i think it will sound weird, then i totally mess up what i was saying then i DO look weird... i hate it man.. good luck!

  • First of all I think you need to get rid of the idea that there is a God out there listening in to your thoughts man. It drove me crazy as a kid and even as an atheist now it bugs me a little bit - once you realise that its only you who can hear your thoughts things begin to look up

  • I do really like your video's though - they offer an insight not only to you & others but into myself as well..

Interesting to know that looking at someone like you,(Where before a person might envy) Also might share the same thoughts & feelings at times...

  • Then again saying you share the same thoughts & feelings at times with a nut case like myself isn't quite the moral booster I was grasping for...

I'll walk around the neighborhood slapping PitBull's untill forgiven :-P

  • As a paranoid Schizo my only advice is to just have fun with it...

If having a bad day try & make the demons sing choir songs insted of insulting you or try & catch God at a mistake when you hear him...

    Hours of fun !

I cought the comment at 1:55, priceless - lol

  • You're not nuts. You think critically, that's why you have those thoughts. My psychology professor told me once, that intelligent people are more likely to be depressed than the general population. I forgot under what context he was stating this, but it stuck with me. It's alright to have the thoughts, I wouldn't want to live life without them. Now it's all about me figuring out what to do with them, how to live with them. :)

  • How did you stop the thoughts of someone watching and judging you???

  • stop "wondering" and just get on with life.

then you'll feel normal and accomplished for once.

because the truth is: EVERYONE is crazy. Even if you enjoy hours alone in your room, you're just quite introverted and introspective, not CRAZY>

    so stop worrying.

  • crazy, weird, eccentric... . These words define people who are separate from the norm. These people are often unique and contribute to the evolution of humankind. Think about all the people in history who have developed us in science and the arts. Most of them have not been "normal." To be normal is to be a follower. To be weird, crazy, eccentric... unique, now that is being a leader. Give thanks for your unique outlook on things... peace out and take care. :: bows in respect :: :)

  • your far from crazy. crazy people don't know they are crazy and don't ask themselves if their crazy. kudos!

  • QuixoticBlues, I can not put into words the emotions and thoughts that I now feel having just watched your video. To have someone I have never seen or met sum up MY early life so accurately is quite surreal and scary, and though it is freaking me out a bit, it's doing so in a very positive way. I (and you) are not alone. Sitting here thinking what to write, I actually find myself feeling both moved and encouraged. I only wish I could express things better, but thank you for doing this video.

  • you aint crazy. you just have an active imagination. life aint perfect. people aint perfect.

  • You sound sane to me! - check out the book Celia Green: The Human Evasion (some sanity for soar souls). It a free online read, and man is it a piece of fresh air for the mind!

  • So I just went and read The Human Evasion online and WOW. Seriously what a perspective, it is almost ridiculous how illuminating the book is. Mad, mad props for letting me know about this!

  • check out the movie "Con Air" and listen to Steve Buscemi's rant about sanity. Society is completely inf*ckingsane.

propaganda is the voice of our culture. don't give in. the path of least resistance is (currently) the one leading to extinction.

  • hehe Steve Buscemi has interesting rants in a lot of his movies doesn't he?

And I couldn't agree more that if everyone follows the pleasure-seeking, divisive, other-people obsessed culture that dominates... very bad things will (continue to) happen.

  • yeah, i think it's completely normal to think "sh*t's just NOT RIGHT." in my opinion, you'd have to be pretty f*cked up to think 'life is peachy'.

  • I'm a bit crazy, too. For me, it's the feeling that I'm in some way broken because I don't want the same things others want (a full time job, marriage, to go drinking on Saturdays and watch tv, etc...) But maybe its a sign that something is right. One book that helped me on this aspect was "The Highly Sensitive Person", just the idea that certain personality types aren't worse, just that they aren't as valued in our culture.

  • I know how you feel, I've never had much of an idea which kind of box I wanted to work in for 40 hours per week, etc. A while ago I read a Wikipedia article on the Highly Sensitive Person and was taken aback at how much it resonated with me, I think I will check out the book as you suggest!

  • @ozjthomas Well that is a good point, what is abnormal anyway?

  • We're the same, man.

God is real, and it does not judge you. There is no judgement except for the judgement you have against yourself.

I'm gonna PM you, bro. Too much to say to put in comments. Good looking out to Zezt for sending this video my way, I know what you're dealing with. You are NOT crazy. I know you're not.

  • Hey QuixoticBlues , this is one of THE greatest videos I have seen. What you reveal is really what many people will think--or not dare to think.

Yes your 'crazy' which MEANS in THIS world you are VERY intelligent and loving ;)

I have much to pm you dude

  • God is a myth so you don't have to worry about that. Religion is a tool used to control the unintelligent masses.

  • Cool looking goatee! 8)

  • Don't worry, God doesn't judge us, he loves us. Remember what Pope John Paul said : Don't be afraid, just enjoy life, and try and love your fellow human beings. If God is Love he must surely know that we,humans, do have extenuating circumstances...

  • Assuming an all-powerful, all-knowing, unquestioned, and unquestionable authority ("god" or whatever/whoever you wish) leads to the following sequence: 1. You are alive, so you must inevitably engage in actions of one kind or another. 2. Your actions must be judged by the authority; that's in his job description. 3. If the judgement is that you have transgressed, you must be found guilty. 4. If you are guilty, then you must be punished.

  • 5. If the anticipated punishment is not forthcoming, you still feel guilty so you look for punishment elsewhere, even to yourself. You might have to look really hard for both the transgression and the punishment; that's where the excessive introspection comes in. [Notice that this thought process is entirely logical! But the initial premise (the authority monster) is questionable.]

  • 6. The self-inflicted punishment begins in a vague and amorphous way, but that's not painful enough to suit the "crime" so it can evolve into all kinds of complex convoluted problems, of which social anxiety is one. Are you bit crazy? If being tangled up in this kind of mess is crazy, then maybe. But a fucking nut case? I don't think so.

  • That's a very insightful description of the sequence of events, thanks for sharing that! Hehe that pretty accurately describes the process I have to admit.

  • Hey I always love to see you make videos, make a response if you want, or wait a while if you think people are fed up. But really, I don't think they are =).

  • And only a few months ago did I realize I actually am a good person and that what I do is for the good of everyone. I think we are afraid of denial like others are in. We dont like to be the ones thinking we are always right and good but you know what, i guarantee you that you are that good and right because you are conscious of your actions. So we need to fight for ourselves and realize our actions are right and good.

  • You're totally right, I'm always so concerned with not being like so many people, close-minded and convinced I'm always right, even though that's not really me at all.

  • I do the same thing all the time but overtime, being critical of myself has dissipated greatly. I did this by just realizing those thoughts were irrational and have no substance (therapist had to tell me that because I believed they were true thoughts). So I kept catching myself whenever I was basing negative thoughts on myself off of non-facts and truly telling myself "no thats wrong, I am good enough".

  • i would think that questioning yourself in normal. i do it all the time. Everyone has weird ideas when they were younger.

  • Being "normal" is a little BORING :P

and talk about how you feel is COOL.

    Take care, Pat.

     PEACE :)

  • Im not sure about UFOs but life on other planets if far more likely than a bad tempered all powerfull magic man in the sky obsessed with pathetic dumbass humans making gods in their image...

  • Religeon is very unhealthy.Faith is the ability to believe in several contradictions simultaneously. Dont waste youre time bothering with Mr Invisible.Have you noticed while reading the bible that any page you open has a few illogical ideas.. badly written... not to mention the downright Evil stuff God supposedly does and instructs in the book.

Read the old Testament .If you rape someone you have to marry them..and get stoned to death for picking up sticks.

  • I definitely agree, total faith is just harmful to the mind and soul. But I do think there are positive elements of religion, they just don't get emphasized by most churches.

'Believing in several contradictions simultaneously,' no kidding. There's some serious Orwellian doublethink going on in mainstream religions!

  • Faith can be positive if youre not too bright and you interpret it in a positive way which doesent involve killing anybody. I think most churches emphasise the positive, keep a lot of the negative, and try to ignore the downright evil.

  • Probably my mind wouldnt be as fried as it is today if id gotten rid of my childhood brainwashing earlier.. The fight between common sense logic and brainwashed child superstitions aint healthy...Check out Beyond Belief on You Tube... Scientists Biologists Phycisists Cosmologists etc with interesting stuff to say..The least religeous segment of society are those who have Nobel Prizes for their contributions to humanity.

  • if your crazy, im crazy too.

    hows that? take that :P

  • Haha we can have neighboring padded rooms in some institute. =P
