  • Love the card, you did a great job! Great first video! The only thing I had a little trouble with is I had a hard time focusing on what you were saying with the music going on in the background. Other than that you did an AWESOME job! This has been a card I have been wanting to learn how to do for a while!!!!

  • How do you made (colored) the border list? Please answer ::)

  • Why wuld 8 people put a not like rating? Poop on them, this is the best video on here of how to make the trifold shutter card1 I even took a class and did not come out able to what she did, she was famous so perhaps all of the chatter about their stamp line was to be expected, but not appreciated. GOOD JOB

  • It would really make this video easier to follow if that awful, distracting music was not there!

  • I've seen shutter card tutorials all over Youtube, and by far I think you've simplified it the most. Great job!

  • take off the S in the front. hehe

  • Just fabulous, you made it all see so easy, I'm going to have a try. Mind you, yours are beautifully decorated - that part I'll have to really think about. :)

  • Wow those cards are stunning! Thanks so much for sharing your tutorial.

  • I enjoyed your video. It made it look much easier than I thought it would be.

  • You showed this very nicely - Like the card alot = you did good :)

  • Like the video, really impressive for a first video, but I have to ask.. who's going to the toilet while you're filming? Or did you leave the tap running?

  • Your cards look amazing! TFS!

  • hi i think your card was very nice.

  • Okie, I've got to say I loved your video, and I really loved your shirt! Where did you get it?!

  • It would have been nice to have added all the measurement's too. other then that, great card ideas.

  • @ChocoDrop2

I just re-learned how to use the ruler again! I end up cutting everything with a 1/4 difference and it worked out great...example...1st panel measured 6*2 so I cut my patterned paper at 5 3/4 x 1 3/4...hope that helps.

  • haha ur so cute...and the card!!

  • I don't have a base like yours in this video, will making this card still be easy without it? And I love your shirt! :)

  • I love you XD (and this tutorial!)

  • @sinisterspackle MWAH!!!!!!! love you too sis!

  • I LOVED IT!!! You are sooo cute :) I am going to try this, mine might not look so nice :) TFS!!!

  • I think your instructions were excellent in comparison to some others I've seen and I loved your little personal touches to your video. It should have been fairly simple for someone to figure out the panel pieces. I didn't have a problem with this. It didn't frustrate me at all. Well, I'm on to watch your other videos. Hope you had a great holiday.

  • I absolutely loved the cards u did! Im gonna try this technique. I hope mine turns out just as good as yours. Thanks for the info!

  • hi love the card. i was wondering if you could type out the measurement for me i cant her i'm deaf thanks a bunch

  • You start with a piece of cardstock that is 6x12 inches. You score the card at 2, 4, 8 and 10 inches. Then on the long sides you cut the card 1 and 1/2 inches in between the 2 and the 10 score mark. Flip the paper and cut 1 and 1/2 inches in on the other edge again between the 2 and the 10 inch score marks. I hope this helps. These cards look like a lot of fun and I can't wait to try them. Best of luck!

  • thanks for your help cant wait to make them!!!!!

  • You start with a piece of cardstock that is 6x12 inches. You score the card at 2, 4, 8 and 10 inches. On each long edge you CUT in 1 and 1/2 inch between the 2 and the 10 score lines. Hope this helps you!

  • Hey, for a first video, You did a Great Job!! I would not have done so wel. My sister and I made one of these cards--it took us about 6 Hours!! :^D !! But it was nice when it was done :) I really love your tip for how to place the papers, so you get one pattern one direction and a different pattern the other direction!! Great Tip!! Gonna add you to my subscriptions-hope you make more videos.

  • You did a great job and I didn't have any trouble measuring for the patterned paper!! I saw someone do a variation of this and make it into a mini album. Have any ideas?

  • Nice video. So loved the humor! I'll be watchin u!

  • You should have provided accurate measurements for the patterned paper, specifically for the side panels because they are so tricky. After several attempts at the method you suggested to another viewer I gave up in frustration and went with another variation of this card. Too bad. I really liked your ideas a lot.

  • Great Job for your first video!

I love your cards that you made - they are AWESOME!

thank you for sharing this - I'm going to give it a try.

  • So once you got your background done...how did you know what size the pattern paper was to layer on top of it?

  • I sort of recorded that part and then messed up the video :D I am sorry! It's not too hard, I laid my patterned paper down on top of the base and just used a pencil to mark lines to measure how big I wanted them to be. . . or, you could use a ruler or your trimmer to measure them out. I'm sorry for leaving that part out!

  • Nicely Done!
