Fear of death... It is pointless to fear the inevitable. Accept death as you accept life and you will have no fear for it. Life is cruel and does discriminate. Death ends the suffering/cruelties of life. Death is your friend, sure he takes some untimely. Sure one get's older then the other but it can be anyone who dies young or old. He doesn't discriminate.
Also I believe that jesus didn't mean that he was the only son of god when he said it and I think he may have been enlightened, he probably noticed that we are all pieces of "god" and notice that when I use god it isn't in the western terms as a deity or anything like that, thanks for the video but it isn't very comforting to see that some people still don't get the message even after such a clear statement

I got tremendous fear hearing lots of fundamental Christians seeing horrific hell and burning torturing for eternity during their NDE. I can't for the life of me understanding this all wise and all loving God created all these super horrific realms after life. Some got luck and some got unlucky, so NDE is a russian rulette. Hi, I've got really bad death anxiety to the point of constant sickness, trembling, depression, and sometimes bursting into tears. I'm only 18 and I know it's not rational but I can't stop thinking about such things. I can't live because I'm so scared of death. Does anyone have any helpful advice? I would really appreciate it.

@Heino0077 I'll agree that the evidence is compelling, the blind seeing is something and roberts words really help me relax, but how do you not know that you mind was not just giving you a dream, a dream that seemed so vivid because you could only feel your consciousness because you're body had effectively died, so there was no medical signals being sent to the brain, surely that could prove the idea of being weightless and painless and then what if this was just an idea made in your head.

My father died in a psychic illness, because he refused to get help even though it was served before his mouth. His illness developed so vast, that he began to have waves of psychosis. He lost his fear of death, he began to "embrace" it. In a strong enough psychosis, as he was separated from his family (us), the illness overtook him, and he committed suicide. I'm not trying to scare you. Reality has not any limits drawn, it's you who draw your own limits.

You are welcome. The point of meditation and enlightenment is to liberate yourself from your thinking. When meditating you calm your mind and come to realize that there is another part of you that is not your thoughts. Once you get familiar with this other part of you - your true nature (soul, spirit, etc.) - you will see that you are not your thoughts and this gives you freedom. With the freedom to chose between your thoughts you can chose positive thoughts and let go of fear and anxiety.

The fear of death that i suffer from is so intense, that it doesn't alow me to travel far from my house without having a panic attack. so i suffer from agoraphobia I am on medications because of this.
Fear and anxiety are chosen thoughts. I would begin meditation or another practice that gets you out of your mind and help you let go of those thoughts.

Yes, giving up the ego to something much bigger can be a frightening experience because that other dimension very powerful. But you are not loosing anything only gaining your true nature and all the universe. If you compare with you gain: infinite love - then there is no loss. However, if you are still scared you can always find that eternal part in you - your true essence - that will be your solid foundation on the other side. Yes, I think everything is part of God as interconnected oneness. This is both what religion teaches and what people who have NDEs experience. But while people do have reunions in the Light, ultimately the research suggests that we all return to God as a form of energy - Love. However, while there might be no physical manifestation is this reunion, we are still one with our loved ones through the energy and love.
I agree its not always easy. While I do think that people who have been clinically dead are the most reliable sources of information about the afterlife, still its all a mystery anyways. And they will say that too. However, about the confusion I would find my own way and you can always start by answering the question: who am I?
You don't need a near death experience. One key is to answer the question: who am I?
When you find the answer to this, you will know that you are not your fear and that who you are - your essence or soul - is eternal love. This is the foundation that you can step on without fear on the other side.
Well, unless you are a fundamentalist, then you can always save yourself. Even the Bible tells us that God is within and that the only sin that cannot be forgiven is against the holy spirit. "Spirit" in Greek means soul or mind and by answering the question: who I am? You will end up with eternal love - the same place as faith in Christ brings you.

Yes, I have been there in my NDE but its not like some fundamentalists would have us believe as it is more a separation from God's love. However, it is a form of insanity to focus on "Hell" and punishment when God's love is greater than our separation.

I'm only 18 and I know it's not rational but I can't stop thinking about such things. I can't live because I'm so scared of death. Does anyone have any helpful advice? I would really appreciate it.

the problem is, you say you 'came back' to a health body, surely this could just mean that this was nothing but your brain going into a panic over the fact you might be dying and creating this illusion in your mind? how can you be sure that this is actually the real deal? please, i need some kind of solace, im currently suffering from a serious anxiety of fearing death :(

I myself had an out of body experience, i just came out of myself and could see myself and the people sitting around me and the tv was still playing.You have always existed and always will! Also you can watch on youtube about people blind from birth and then seeing while having a near death experience.But ROBERT MONROE is a good place to start! Death is a BIG hoax we were taught!!

@Heino0077 I'll agree that the evidence is compelling, the blind seeing is something and roberts words really help me relax, but how do you not know that you mind was not just giving you a dream, a dream that seemed so vivid because you could only feel your consciousness because you're body had effectively died, so there was no medical signals being sent to the brain, surely that could prove the idea of being weightless and painless and then what if this was just an idea made in your head.

@casenova0 HI in my case i was just watching tv with friends so i did not die, and i just floated out off myself.I could still see the tv going on,People next to me and saw everything as clear as i would be wide awake! If you read roberts book you will see that what he saw out of body turned out to be true.I was scared just like u until this happend to me.In my books if you can see into sum1s house u hav never seen before and then tell them exactly whats there! that has to count for something.

@Heino0077 ok but this doesn't cover the aspect of death, were the thing that makes us live, our life-force, dies out. Even though you talk about these OBEs, you were still alive, your brain was still active (unless you can prove me people are brain dead when they have OBEs) so what if this experience is just a form of pyschic connection you formed with people who had seen that house. The problem with connecting these is that OBEs come from the mind, when we die, the mind dies. You see my issue?

You say death is an illusion, does that mean life is an illusion too? so the love i feel towards my family and my girlfriend, is that all just media and religious brain washing. Just think about the facts of the human being. Everything occurs in the brain, sparks of electricity create everything for everyone, they let us breath, see, hear, smell, feel. so what happens then those sparks stop firing?

You should know that everything does not occur in the brain and there's not enough time or space here to explain how complex our make-up and functionality really is. Keep in mind that we are not really human, we are spherical Beings having a human experience... We analyze and learn from our human experiences and all of the the data that our brain collects.

@AstralBooBaby so what doesn't occur in the brain? emotions are caused by endorfins and nerves in the brain causing things in the body to react. Brain cells store our memories, we learn from experience by them being stored in these cells but then what happens then we die and these cells die? the argument for nothingness, logically, far over shadows the logic for this idea of spherical beings. I don't mean to be a downer but I am just finding it hard to see beyond life.

I am not afraid of death. God is not cruel or evil- Quite the conrtary. He gave us mortality as a gift. He gave us emotions and life, our minds, everything that makes us Human. God gave mankind death as a way to return to Him. That is why I do not fear it.

We see death from a physical point of view in this world. The aspect of being buried under the ground or cremated is frightening for many. It is disturbing and haunting. That is why we fear it so much. Getting eaten by bugs is NOT pleasant.

My father died in a psychic illness, because he refused to get help even though it was served before his mouth. His illness developed so vast, that he began to have waves of psychosis. He lost his fear of death, he began to "embrace" it. In a strong enough psychosis, as he was separated from his family (us), the illness overtook him, and he committed suicide. I'm not trying to scare you. Reality has not any limits drawn, it's you who draw your own limits.

You are welcome. The point of meditation and enlightenment is to liberate yourself from your thinking. When meditating you calm your mind and come to realize that there is another part of you that is not your thoughts. Once you get familiar with this other part of you - your true nature (soul, spirit, etc.) - you will see that you are not your thoughts and this gives you freedom. With the freedom to chose between your thoughts you can chose positive thoughts and let go of fear and anxiety.

But to answer your question there is actually one person who has died according to modern science - Pam Reynolds, who had cardiac arrest with flat EEG for 55 minutes. What she is saying is the same most people, 80 - 90%, who have near death experiences, and her conclusion is the same as the general conclusion from NDE research based on thousands of cases of near death experiences - they all say the same on matter the culture or religious background.

I listen to all these videos and think wow, so many and it makes me believe so much more, this may sound wrong but in a way i want to experience what these people have, i am only young and these videos have made me a strong believer, i only pray a few times and it is weird because i have asked for signs and this could be just a coincedence but i wondered what the time was and the clock went off at that very moment, i just want to feel guidence in life that will make me believe even more.

Thanks for replying. I guess by that answer we lose our "one self" or "ego" and become part of something bigger. I find that a little scary as I think I would like to retain individuality. Nothing frightens me as much as reincarnation though! To think I have to face many more lifetimes is a little depressing and deflating. I do have faith that the man upstairs though and what he's doing, and there are explanations for evil, etc in the World. Thanks for these videos, they are wonderful

Yes, giving up the ego to something much bigger can be a frightening experience because that other dimension very powerful. But you are not loosing anything only gaining your true nature and all the universe. If you compare with you gain: infinite love - then there is no loss. However, if you are still scared you can always find that eternal part in you - your true essence - that will be your solid foundation on the other side. Answer the question: who I am? and you have nothing to fear.

Yes, I think everything is part of God as interconnected oneness. This is both what religion teaches and what people who have NDEs experience. But while people do have reunions in the Light, ultimately the research suggests that we all return to God as a form of energy - Love. However, while there might be no physical manifestation is this reunion, we are still one with our loved ones through the energy and love.

You don't need a near death experience. One key is to answer the question: who am I?
When you find the answer to this, you will know that you are not your fear and that who you are - your essence or soul - is eternal love. This is the foundation that you can step on without fear on the other side.

Well, unless you are a fundamentalist, then you can always save yourself. Even the Bible tells us that God is within and that the only sin that cannot be forgiven is against the holy spirit. "Spirit" in Greek means soul or mind and by answering the question: who I am? You will end up with eternal love - the same place as faith in Christ brings you.

Yes, I have been there in my NDE but its not like some fundamentalists would have us believe as it is more a separation from God's love. However, it is a form of insanity to focus on "Hell" and punishment when God's love is greater than our separation.
