Nope, Japanese packs have always given out a holo, and 2 rares.

Not the English packs and don't expect them to.

hey bro...that teddiursa and mareep....on it's lower right place on top of the promo symbol it has a few japanese letters and kanji, basically it says "memorial/anniversary pokemon card" so must be celebrating the anniversary of pokemon gold and silver =)

Oh I have to say that I love the opening of new boxes I haven't touched yet... Lol. The energy cards look fantastic. I like how they've got silhouettes and all that.

It would be cool if we could just skip arceus and get to the english version of these - can't wait to see all the original pokemon (I consider the 1st and 2nd gen original to myself).

I still wish the ho-oh and lugia legend cards came as just one card, not two halves. That totally puts me off as far as artwork goes. :-( The Great Pokemon cards just show the face and no impressive artwork too. The normal holos look nice though.
