I don't know how in some stages you can go very fast with turbo without using the turbos with L1 and R1, for example on N Gin Labs before the long turbo ...

Race like the video shows, and also at the start i turn around and collect a good chunk of 3's. i find it difficult to collect all the 3's in 2 laps. if you collect those 3's on the last lap it just wastes what time you could have saved.
